Oh, I know most of those things, sadly. I'm pretty old school.

I started a couple of months after the release but kept up fairly well with most of the first crops of 75's, (despite that bullshit of giving up on fighting maat for a couple of weeks and having no money as a result.)

I think Red Dead Revolver came out the same day I started. That was a game I was looking forward to mainly because it had such a kickass title, game kinda sucked though. It took me around 4 hours to get my internet all hooked up and activated then another 2 or 3 to get the game all installed and my ID/account activated. I then popped on server Diabolos and proceeded to get killed by the first monster I ever saw, a Tiny Mandragora.

Yeah, I had a brief stint in there when I was leveling with Murph, etc. Gilzz leveled ahead of them by a couple levels and then disappeared for a bit. It was really quiet, and I don't remember much except telling Peejo and Kailyn that Steelfleece was up and I watched them duo it.

Remembering the old days makes me miss the game, then I remember how much of a pile of shit it was when I left.

thunderstomp wanted to be DRG so he tried the name "kain" but it didn't work. then he tried "kayne" and it worked. i think he wanted to switch races or something, tried "kayne" again and it didn't work. when he entered the world as thunderstomp, he and i saw "kayne" (a level 1) running around sandoria. we were like "YOU TOOK MY FRIEND'S NAME!" he was like "oh sorry lol"
