As a person who's been a customer of comcast cable for 1 year, I agree with ponuh, and I wish comcast would go to hell.

I (and anyone who dealt with me 5 months ago) also agree.

Road construction on my street roughly 5 months ago and i D/C'd every 15 minutes.
FF was basically unplayable. I went to Dyna-Ice to get my key item and started to D/C right as Angra Mainyu died lol.

I moved about a year ago and had to switch from Cablevision to comcast. For about 2 straight years with CableVision OptimumOnline I almost never DCd from FFXI. For about a month after switching to comcast I could not play ffxi at all and even forum browsing was nigh impossible. I got no assistance from the company by phone(which they charge you for) or housecall help. To this day my connection is shit.

When we first had the cable installed here the cable dude was some fatass messy looking rocker who smelled like pot and sped down our one way street the wrong way. We did eventually get a guy out here who completely replaced all the cables and gave me a new modem, but he made my room smell like dead people.

Comparing apples and oranges, I'd say this company is even worse than Empire carpeting/flooring. The situation with them was so bad my professional handyman neighbor came over and was like "These guys are idiots I'll put down your floor just get them the fuck out of here."

Yeah... Comcast when works good, it's good enough, but lately (past few months) i have called them 10+ times and scheduled 3 tech appointments due to idiotically slow speeds and just plain outage. I have a 10Mbit connection that usually does about 12-14Mbit, but lately it's been around 8Mbit in the highs and 2Mbit lows (lower speeds are more constant then high), comcast's excuse is that they are installing a new internet phone bullshit.

I was going to change to adelphia, but it was bought by comcast =[
I wanna look into getting T1 for home use.

Comcast fucking sucks ass where I live. Worst customer support ever too. The d/l speeds at my house suck... while Aalan gets more consistently higher d/l speeds for some reason. On Demand is a joke and rarely works, thankfully we have a TiVo. I use Clearwire now (wireless broadband), it is not that great either but cheaper than comcast.

Every time I read on a forum about people having connection issues, the phrase "i'm on Comcast" always crops up. I have no personal experience of them, they don't have a UK service as far as I know, but even I know they are utter shit.
