Congrats dude!

If I still played I would merit exp with you. 2 BLMs can have a lot of fun on Mount Zhayolm (it's probably crazy fucking overrun now). I did all mine with a taru and he always got mad about my lack of MP lol. Still get chain 5-6 every time with pretty laid back stress free exp. I got all my elemental and thunder/bliz potency merits that way.

Grats. I hit 75 right as ToAU came out, now everyone's getting there. Kudos to you for sticking with blm, since they're not as popular anymore, for exp anyway.

Ok, so that is only my opinion. I remember how ducking cool it felt to ding 75 on black mage, especially when so many of my friends had got there before me. I think it is a great acheivement, a goal that everyone has and most people make, and means something.

Fuck merits, the jump from level 74 to 75 is what? 40k xp? To make the equivalent increase in ability with merits will take you probably 20 times that much xp. If you aren't gonna be in an endgame linkshell (this is the right thing to do) then nobody will give a shit, and if they do, just lie, they won't notice anyway.

Didn't they bump the merits up? Like you can get more in elemental and such now? I'm glad I fucking quit lol. I would shoot myself if I had to exp my 75 job in those crowded zones anymore.

You get 8 more magic skill merits but u can only put 8 into ele skill still. Most BLMs probably put those other merits into enfeebling magic.

ahh ok that's pretty cool then. Since RDM was my other main I'd probably put the others into Enfeebling fo sho.
