What's “Mog Bonanza”?
Final Fantasy XI's 6th anniversary is just around the corner, and to celebrate this happiest of occasions, the Mog House Management Union (MHMU) has decided to hold the very first Mog Bonanza event, kupo! We moogles have spared no effort to ensure that this inaugural event is a runaway success, with the prizes prepared bound to have even the most appallingly affluent adventurers drooling uncontrollably, kupo! This is the chance to turn your Vana'dielian dreams into reality and become the envy of all fellow adventurers by winning stupendous amounts of gil, or super-rare items of legend like the Kraken Club...and more!

How to Play
The Mog Bonanza is a number-guessing game in which you pick a five-digit number of your choice, kupo.
Playing is simple! Purchase a Mog Bonanza marble (*1) from a Bonanza Moogle at designated areas (*2), then have the vendor inscribe your desired five-digit number on it, kupo. If you can't decide on a number, we moogles will be more than happy to pick one for you. The winning numbers will be announced at a later date, so sit tight and leave the rest to Lady Luck, kupo!

The conditions for winning are as follows:
Rank 1 prize: all five digits.
Rank 2 prize: last four digits.
Rank 3 prize: last three digits.
Rank 4 prize: last two digits.
Rank 5 prize: last digit.

*1
Up to 10 Mog Bonanza marbles can be purchased per character level 5 or above. You can have the same number inscribed on multiple marbles. This will mean bigger earnings should you have a winning number, kupo.

*2
Purchase your Mog Bonanza marbles, check winning numbers, and collect prizes from Bonanza Moogles at Port San d'Oria (I-9), Port Bastok (L-8), Port Windurst (F-6), or the Chocobo Circuit (H-8), kupo.

FINAL FANTASY XI 6th Anniversary Mog Bonanza
Price: 1000 gil.
Mog Bonanza marbles available for purchase from May 16 till May 28.
The winning numbers will be announced on June 30.
Prizes available for collection from July 2 till July 31.

Prize List
Each Mog Bonanza marble with a winning number entitles you to an item of your choosing from the list of prizes in the corresponding rank.

Considering the lotto number is a string of just 5 digits, and each character you have can get 10, it seems like a good shot at walking away with at least something.

I'm pretty psyched.

This event is the essence of FFXI in its random reward system.

Fixed.

I think 100m is a bit over the top, especially considering the value of the items in that tier. Find it particularly hilarious that dalm+1 is even on it, considering the same tier has 2 bodies that make it completely obsolete (Morrigan and Marduk). Of all the items on that list the two that seem pricelessly rare and awesome are the Valkyrie's Fork from Odin and the Futsuno Mitama from AV.

They did that so we can lol at anyone who would pick dalmy+1.

Also anyone who pickes the kraken club over 100mil is an idiot cuz kraken is only worth 20mil.

And you forgot to mention hofud, but that might turn out to be as worthless as the aspir sword from that ISNM, w/e it's called.

Its a awesome sword for blue mage. Has both HP and MP drain on it, only one will go off at a time, and its dropped from the Odin fight same as that fork DL posted. I don't know how much the drain is for either.

That is one badass polearm.

No thanks to returning to FFXI. I will probably give my account to Aalan, as he is back playing again on another server. So if you see my character running around in the near future, it is not me. He will transfer Eternus to whatever server he is playing on and use him as a PL lol. Oh well.

Holy shit @ some of those items. I don't think anything can pull me back into FFXI. I know if I reinstalled it and logged in, I'd quit in about 5 minutes. I wonder if my character even exists still.

Probably does, they changed the whole inactive process a while ago. I think it all depends on when you quit though.

Personally I feel the same too, nothing can get me back into that game.

As long as you didnt delete your character, you can come back whenever you want. My account has been inactive since September 2007 and I reactivated May 2, 2008. Everything exactly as I left it.
