Eternus Likes me cause I was a NA Bard zomg! Was I even the first NA 75 Bard? I remember I took two two week breaks post-50 and people like Melo were 73 when i came back at like 67-69. I was thinking of rebuying the game to dick around but the grind and unlocking jobs again... oi. I don't think I could. |

I would have never started playing again if I had to do all that stuff over again. I enjoy doing all the little roadblock quests and stuff like that, I just don't much care for doing them a second time. I've leveled BLM up to 67 now. Things are a lot different from when I leveled PLD. Instead of taking 2 nights to get 1 level out of an overcrowded camp, I go up to Xarcabard and nuke the crap out of giants' pet tigers and get 2 levels in like 4 hours. Grateful the grind isn't as rough, but, it seems kinda cheesy. |

It's going to be hard for people to start from scratch because of all the advancements in the game and the liability of making reliable gil. But with the "Level Sync" feature, it makes grinding a lot less tedious (although your still doing the same thing but in more convenient forms). There's also the "astral burn alternative" if you want to get your character to level 75 in a week. Level 80 cap coming at the end of this month!!! |

Who is playing still? i just got a windows pc for the first time in hmmm no idea how many years and going through games to install to get a nostalgia fix was thinking of FFXI and seeing if SquareEnix has deleted my account yet for me  afterall with FFXIV on the way i need to remember what the game is all about only been hmmm 5yrs....

We did, TS was there too! Same character, new name. It's Roor now. I've recently been lvling dnc which is 25, and my sch is 43 i think. I usually play nights but sometimes ill log on randomly during the day. |
