•Trigger conditions for following notorious monsters will be adjusted to spawn by trading specific items to the “???” in the respective area.
Fafnir / Nidhogg: Dragon’s Aery
Behemoth / King Behemoth: Behemoth’s Dominion
Adamantoise / Aspidochelone: Valley of Sorrows

- The ”???” will respawn a minute after the battle is over.
- The NM will despawn if unclaimed for 90 seconds at the spawned location.
- The feature wherein the level of these monsters will increase after battling them for a period of time will remain unchanged.

•How to obtain the trigger items:
Fafnir: Treasure from “Early Bird Catches the Wyrm”
Nidhogg: Treasure dropped by Fafnir
Behemoth: Treasure from “Horns of War”
King Behemoth: Treasure dropped by Behemoth
Adamantoise: Treasure from “The Hills are Alive”
Aspidochelone: Treasure dropped by Adamantoise

* At least one of these items will be dropped in every battle.

•The treasures dropped by the following notorious monsters will be adjusted as follows:
Fafnir : Wyrm Beard removed
Nidhogg : Drop rate of Wyrm Beard decreased
Behemoth : Behemoth Tongue removed
King Behemoth : Drop rate of Behemoth Tongue decreased
Adamantoise : Adamantoise Egg removed
Aspidochelone : Drop rate of Adamantoise Egg decreased

At this point most stuff from kings is crap. Heactomb cap/legs have some utility for thf along with defending ring and of course the black belt. Some people still make an argument for ridill but I haven't actually seen anybody using one since I started playing again in September.

I think it's for the best, but definitely too little, too late. I hated camping kings. Any system set up where it makes people feel the need to bot just to compete is a dumb system.

What's funny is that in order to get the spawn items you need to do KS99 battles, and pretty much any monster lv70+ now drops a different item called a kindred crest, which cannot be used for kindred seal battles.

It sounded like the pop items were 100% drop and I have a ton of seals saved up due to not having any friends.

if i recall high lvl monsters could drop kindred seals and beastmen seals, not kindred instead of beastmen. Does the kindred crest alltogether replace the other seals, or are both still on the loot table?

Kindred and Beastmen seals both had separate 1 max per X amount of minutes for a droprate. You could never get two in a row. That being said, I don't know if any new seal after kindred also affected Kindred drop rates.

It's possible to get 1 of any seal every 5 minutes per party.

Assuming you got a KS every 5min, which wouldn't happen because you would get BS as well, it woyuld take 8 hours and 15 minutes of solo farming to gather 99 seals.

Kindred Seals don't drop inside Abyssea, where 99% of people play and exp now. So after the first month when people unload their old saved seals these NMs will never be seen again.

The sequence is really funny now too. Pretty much any DD can solo NQ kings now. So now the process is gather friends to help you do the KS99, get pop for NQ King. Go solo NQ King, get pop for HQ King. Gather friends to kill HQ king.

That 5 minute thing has been debunked
