The past two years have been somewhat chaotic. My wife, then fiance, and I agreed to do an interview for Amazon about a little over a year ago. We both got offers, sold our house, and got relocated to Seattle where we live now in an apartment. Work pretty much consumes most of the time we have now. We flew back for the wedding last October, and now our first anniversary is coming up on the 12th.

I still find myself thinking about the time I spent here, and what an angsty kid I was when I first joined these forums. I hope you guys are doing well.

Actually, no! It's a 10% employee discount on all Amazon fulfilled stuff which cancels out WA state sales tax! =P~ Many have asked about trading this for Prime, but the answer has always been 'no' because of 'reasons'.

Thanks! I have largely been flying by the seat of my pants. It's been over a year and no one seems to have caught on yet though so I think I'm in the clear.

Thanks for posting all of these Yarr. I love seeing the old pics since I don't have any. That was a really amazing game. I tried to go back a couple of times, same with WoW, and the games didn't age very well. Wish I could play FFIV with you guys.

I remember just doing my thing and trying to get all of the cool secret stuff. I'd try to help people (like Mikey) when I could but I remember generally there was some drama going on between me and you (weren't we fighting about the whole HNM hunting thing? I remember i dogged you for the elf mp pool alot. Seriously man that was pretty gimp lol. At least you had those political schemes going on.)

I had a lot of great friends, I wonder what Azn's up to. I'm always looking for posts by Mikey when I'm on here. Good to hear you're doing well Whisp!

good to see you too.

the job is going well. i live in houston near my family now, so i get to spend a lot of time with them, which is great. and i had my first date in 4 years this week. life happens when i'm not on FF!

recently i reconstructed my computer desk to be a standing desk. it makes me use my computer for 10 minutes and then get tired of standing and go find something else to do. i lost 12 pounds in 2 weeks, already. i'm not overweight (6'2" 190) but that's pretty crazy to see what a difference sitting all the damn time makes.

12 lbs in 2 weeks is way too fast of loss whips that's not healthy unless you recently gave birth or had massive diarrhea. Or maybe you had both? >.>

12 in two weeks sounds like glucose reserves being burnt up from a change in diet, combined with more physical activity. So probably not the end of the world. haha. Pretty much any diet ever can let you "whoosh" off a bunch of weight right off that bat if you operate at a calorie deficit for a little bit, simply because glucose is mostly water and what the body tends to burn first.

That being said, I have a degree in programming, so what the hell do I know. :D

Haha Whisp that's good to hear. Wish I was in Houston to catch you! Yeah the whole getting things done outside of mmo's is pretty serious business. I was never able to consciously decide that anything was a better idea than playing an mmo, changing it up was just driven by necessity (getting grades, and now working all day).
