I've also been enjoying retail lately. Mostly playing solo, but the casualness is very nice.
I also finally managed to finish this project that took nearly a decade. Feels pretty good!

Can't believe I remembered my password after, what, 12 years? Just wanted to drop in and say that I've been casually playing again for about 8 months now on Asura. I'll often be hotboxing between XI and XIV during downtime, or dualboxing XI for fun. I blew through leveling a bunch of jobs to 99, mastered SAM, got an AG Masamune for SAM a few months ago, started a fishing LS, got a Lu Shang's rod +1, working on Ebisu now... Feels good to be back, and the server is surprisingly active considering what year it is. The main grind these days seems to be for ilvl 119 gear and AG REMA, but honestly, I've really been enjoying soloing all of the content that required groups back then. Finally finishing the storyline (on my own schedule) after so many years was incredibly rewarding. Would love to connect with anyone that happens to still be playing, or considering returning. I've looked into a few private servers, like Nasomi and Eden, but I don't have the stomach to spend weeks LFP in the dunes again... Retail, with all of the new QoL improvements, has been refreshing. |

Glad you're enjoying. I'm on a very low population server. Every NM is always up though. With the books, there is no need to LFG, but it would probably be faster. I play very casually with my wife. Too casually to pay a monthly subscription anymore. |
