Kinda wierd but Ive seen Yarr's name alot but havent actually seen him. He's just too quick darting in and out, making those guest appearances. lol I saw his name on a search, then I was running thru port jeuno and saw Yarr say hi to someone on the chat window so I thought I would look around and had a lock on him then the was gone. He's quick, like a bunny. Im not sure that actually counts as a siting or not. I did however play with Whisp for a bit on sunday. It was great while it lasted but, then the real world ranted that I needed to take a shower, because we have places to go and Fathers to call so I said "Yes dear" and I had to leave. Hopefully, I will get to play with him again.

I ran into Peejo yesterday. Trying to get my Alchemy up a bit so I can make Shihei for my friends, etc. at a bit less than AH (hopefully with me still profiting .. woohoo lol).

All I got was a /wave back though. Not even a Hey, Hello, anything. Sheesh. ;-P


It's pretty weird, I've gotten several people that approach me out there on Ifrit and they /wave.... Ok, sure, whatever... /wave back... then: Hey, are you the one from Yarr's forums? lol funny...

I think I've run into total Peejo, Yarr, Whisp... maybe one or two others. But never really had much of a conversation with anyone. The most was Whisp, who replied total of 3 times I think. lol

lol LagunaFFVIII, sorry about that. It's my supersticious that I do not chat when I am syning. As you saw me last night I was making echo drops and HQ syn left and right. When I have a good run like that, I don't chat, I don't even say anything in rl, if Kailyn bothers me, I'll tell him to stfu and I am having a good run. If he breaks my mojo, I'll smack him in rl and say "look, it's all your fault that my HQ run stop now!"

I can do almost as well with Logs -> Lumber, but that's still not the same thing lol .. Feel free to give me some tips on my Alchemy, I'm trying to get it to 30+. Once I get to 30 Alchemy, I can make Bast Parchment and turn them into Shihei, hopefully HQ'ing a lot of it (Almost 60 Woodworking).

Though, the best thing, if you are willing to talk to me, I can send you a /tell and you can Ctrl+R to reply, it types my name for you.
I wouldn't mind to get to know you better--and perhaps you could help out with my synthesis stuff, at least with what I need to make next to continue onward. Plus, your armor kicks ass! lol I almost took a SS of it, but you were too busy synthing and never standing for a pic. :P

Here's 0-40 guide that I posted long time ago, check the market price before you jump in, but most of them are still working well for the skill up run.
0-6: Tsurara
6-10: poison dust - save the dust
10-14: mercury - save the mercury
14-17: poison potion - use the dust and mercury that you saved
17 (or whenever your mercury/dust ran out)-20 echo drop
(you can actually sell the echo drop back to guild for a porfit if you choose your material source carefully
20-24: silent oil (with slime oil) - you can sell this overnight in jeuno bazaar for a profit
up to 25, you can also repair broken glass fiber rod, you can make a little profit from this
25-30: eye drop; make glass fiber rod (trivial @29)
30-32: artificial lense (save them if you have room/mule), if not, they sell in AH for 800+ each and sell fast, I saved mine
32-36: prism powder - sell fast in jeuno or sell back to vendor for very little profit
36-40: potion - sell back to vendor for a small profit

Quick question for you regarding buying/selling of items. I think my Bastokan Fame is about 4-5 right now (did enough to get Teleport-Dem and stopped). Would you recommend I go do Cabbage-runs to cap off my fame at Hero? I mean, would it affect my prices greatly (more than 10 gil one way or the other). Because I know the Distilled Water costs me 12 gil each in Bastok. It costs me about 10 gil each in San d'Orian (Hero Fame). So that's not a huge difference, though every bit helps....

Just wondering your recommendation. I'm going to have to do it eventually, I'm just putting it off until I finish up Gobbie Bag #3 & #4, so I can make fewer runs to Selbina for that. (not that it takes long anyway. Tele-Dem, trade cabbage, Warp back, repeat)

Buying price normally aren't that important since bastok almost owns no regions weekly so you can't buy anything but pickaxes and distilled waters in bastok. However, sell back price will effect you quiet a bit. If you have time, do it, it'll never hurt, but if you don't have time then don't worry about it.
