hmmm...first trip to jeuno...i remember that talis. i also remember once we got to jeuno...u and yarr ditched us right alway to try to buy all the chocobo food for the quest (whatever it is called) only to have yarr private tell us a couple of hours later to ask if we find any of them because they all out. can't trust those canucks i'm telling you...LOLOLOL! |

Yeah, for those that are still playing that i've known the longest, it has to be Whisp. All/most of the people on my Friendslist, NEVER come on anymore, or have no use for them being on there.. curse me making "Friends" lower levels.. "Your a WHM?" /befriend Movien |

for me i think other than my RL friends, i met Spaz (not playing anymore)around lv8, Omegadata (AKA The Quitter) around lv10, then Yarr (AKA Kayne's GF) and talisin (AKA Kayne's GF's brother) around lv10 then Nekote (AKA the lv70 iron arrow) around lv18, and some other great friends alone the way

the very first person i ever met in this game happens to be the most infamous person in the game .... i still have nightmares about it it is the one and only PYROMANIACNUB!!!! next i met spaz, zoth, and my first venture into Latheine i met lamont and pirotess, and of course nekote, we are friends irl and we went out and bought the game together the first day it was release in US...hehe |

Funny? Ehh..maybe. Irritating, definitely.... Level 18 monk, party broke right after I levelled. First job up, so it was subjob time. I had the Apron and Worm. A few people in my LS offered to take me to Gusgen. Went to Gusgen, and we got killed (~26 blm and mnk with me). I got my skull, but I lost my level in the process.  I regained my level off Easy's in Konschtat on my way back to Selbina....
My first run to Jeuno was with a lvl 1 rdm (when I was only 18mnk). This was when the December patch came that dropped the Chocobo riding level to 15 (once you had a license). I ran to Jeuno to prove you couldn't get your license at 15. Didn't die a single time that run. My second time, with 20whm (first job to 20+) to get my license, I died not 10 feet into Jugner. Ironic how you can make it fine when it does you no good. But when you really need it, you die.... Oh well.
Maybe you'll get a good laugh at me and my former newbie-ness... Ohhhhh I remember another. When my whm ding'd level 25, I learned Raise right away. Our next battle, the Thunder Elemental spawned right next to us in Qufim. Luckily, I stopped casting just in time. Our RDM was not so fortunate and got aggro'd by the elemental right away. I guess he was lucky it wasn't one battle earlier! (I also had to go Raise 4-5 others right after that, because the party beside ours aggro'd the elemental right after the RDM died. lol!) |

For me, i've known yarr, peejo and kailyn since dunes first job. I think i got 18 with yarr. I helped peejo get her skull around 20ish. |

I've known Kailyn before I even created Peejo. Oh wait, I live with Kailyn! Anyways, I've known Reinheld, Prototype since lvl 13 before Subjob. I met itto at dunes at lvl 18 then finally got the damn skull in gusgens when I was 21. (itto was either 23 or 24). I thought he was so cool, but... nm :p Until advance job, I pretty much do everything with Kailyn. I remember doing rank 3 windurst dragon with Exo, chocobo quest with Kane. Then I met Thunderclease when Kailyn and I tried to kill saplings outside of Jeuno while waiting for a new game day to come. Then I met Itto, Reinheld, Zuldane in Kazham as lvl 30 PLD. That's pretty much the bone of our perm pt. We adopted Alchemy (taru blm), but he quitted shortly after Genkei 1. So we adopted Eviltaru, then zuldane quitted at 58, so we adopted Werx. Then last bump came at 72, we basically find whatever rdm or brd is on and adopted Tooyooo. |

heres 1 at lvl 58, thunderstomp and i went to ifrit's cauldron, and defeated a Very Tough volcanic wasp alone, which immediately dropped the ifrit's key, then we immediately found the ifrit's coffer, and he got his DRG body AF. he was either the 4th or 5th NA drg to get body af. (it was late january or early feb). we were told we would need an alliance to get the coffer key. we did it with 2 people. |

my best memory is of course my greatest feat and quite possibly an Ifrit Server record... imagine this if you can... Lvl 9 RDM and lvl 8 BLM Tarus...running from Windurst -> Sand'Oria on foot...we avoided aggro throughout Saruta, Tahrongi, Meriphataud, Sauromuge, then we rested for a bit in Jeuno and laughed as all the 20+ lvl players gawked and said "who warped you here?" then we bought maps at Jeuno, and went from Jeuno -> Battalia -> Jugnar -> LaTheine -> Ronfaure -> Sandy. By the way...once i got to Sandoria, i starting shouting in my LS "I MADE IT I MADE IT!!! ME AND DOCRI MADE IT!!!!" only to have my friend Varnik reply "You know theres a boat, right?" And at the time...no...i didnt know there was a boat... Good times, good times... Never died once, either of us...and what did we do this all for? I heard carpenters make good money... If that isnt amazing i dont know what is ^_^ |

I wasnt around for this, but back in beta BlueXI and some other Shadow Dragons ran from Windurst to Bastok. At the time they did this the highest level characters were still in their teens. When they got to Bastok they were all like "OMG WE MADE IT" and then one of the GMs appeared and were like, grats and started cheering them on. lol I miss beta because there were GMs around all the time in a visible form. |
