Don't come back to FFXI. There are so many cool console games (and systems!) coming out soon, this is a good time to quit FFXI even. Spend that money on the new stuff. FFXI is getting worse and worse.

Well, PSU better be all its cracked up to be, because its my only hope right now.

Out of everything I've looked at and weighed, I'm gonna try PSU, and if it's not enough to take care of my urges, Vanadiel ahoy.

I think PSU will be pretty good, I was always a fan of PSO and played Blue Burst for a long LONG time, but this one looks to be similar enough to be respected by previous players, and different enough to keep interest in it.

We'll see!!

PSU has gotten SLOW SLOW SLOW!!!!

And I'm officially announcing I WILL be playing FFXI again, but not on Ifrit server.

Heres the whole deal:

PSU side of story: Simple enough; I capped out my character, bought every photon art, have the best available weapons and armor and have nothing really left to do in the game but feed my Partner Machine. So exciting [/sarcasm].

I'll still be playing PSU, but we severely need an update, MOATOOB DAMMIT!


FFXI side of story: A very good friend of mine went into the Navy a few months back, and we all started playing PSU as a means to still do something together.
Theres just one problem; he hardly ever gets to play. You see, at his academy, The grounds are shared by both Marines and Navy, and there is only ONE router worth of Wired LAN connections, which he needs to play PSU (Ps2 version since he cant have a computer)
However, there is an always-connected Wireless connection in his range, which he can use with his XBOX 360, which means FFXI on the 360 is alot easier for him to play than PSU which he can only play if he rushes down to the router and plugs in his PS2 before the Marines get to it.

So, in order to keep in touch with this friend, I WILL be on FFXI once more. I don't know what server yet, but I told him to just let his character randomly get set in one, and I'll get a WP and join in after he knows what server hes on.

Anyone up for making a noob character on whatever server we wind up on? It'd be really cool to play with all you guys again, but I don't know if I wanna delve back into Ifrit again (although from what I hear, AH Economy, gil-sellers/campers, etc are just as bad on any other server)

PSU isn't a really MMO. FFXI players were expecting that it was, I guess.

But still I mean, I played PSO, getting lv.100 wasn't like a weekend thing, or maybe its just been too long since I played. I suppose my style of playing video games has been forever changed by FFXI.

Well, I'm officially back.

I have my last incarnate of viviti again (A 41 BLM/RDM) but I'll be focusing on my newly made character, Hashmeer (A War Elvaan) in Sandoria.

I'm on Ifrit server again, and yeah, like Ponuh said, pretty much everyone I knew back then has quit.

theres still alot of familiar faces around though, Madi being one of them, and it was good seeing the few that I did on my first day back today.


Oh, and the deal with PSU to Cad: The cap right now is only lvl 50, so its like a weeks worth of work to cap out a character and get everything to the way I mentioned. The final level cap for PSU will eventually be 200, but they are gonna release updates a little at a time, so it will be slow going (I guess to drag it out over as many months as possible for more $$$)

so remember, the new character is "HASHMEER" so make sure you spell it right sending me free gear and gil. kthxbye.

Ohh, kk.. yeah, when I quit playing PSO on the Gamecube the cap was 200 which was a little insane to get to for me at the time (grining was a monotonous chore, more so than FFXI for me). But... yeah, 50 isn't so bad.

Guy hacking PSU. He was the person who started the hacking in PSO btw lol. One kill and he is level 100. Gameguard can be bypassed as well. Not good news early for PSU.

Early FFXI ran into alot of hacking too, I think. before it was released here

my advice would be get a high proformance car or a girlfriend. Both will probably result in trouble so be careful with that lol. but seriously dude to start from scratch again haha i wouldnt even bother its such a pain in the ass.
