The "War of the Lions" version of FFT is great.
- The new translation is leaps and bounds above the original and has the same shakespearian flair that FFXII had.
- A bunch of the game's key story cutscenes now have voiced FMV.
- The maximum roster size was increased from 16 to 24 so you can fit in the newcomers and new jobs without having to kick out any of the story characters.
- I also highly recommend you go out of your way to recruit Balthier, he's basically a ranged unit with the movement speed of a thief, pretty much untouchable and great for dashing across the field to revive people.
- Game now throws a warning in your face if you try to save your game before facing Weigraf.
However bear in mind that it has some terrible spell animation slowdown, or at least the PSP version did. There's a small possibility they fixed it for the iOS maybe if you're lucky. Eventually you just get used to this though.
On topic, I don't really play phone games at all. I'm never really in a situation where it feels appropriate. I don't travel anywhere via public transport nor have time where i'm waiting around at work or something. I'm also not going to sit at home and play a game on my phone with extremely akward touchscreen controls when I could bust out a DS/PSP and use some buttons.
