Anyone play the new free Android/iOS FF game? It's pretty fun and you can actually play it without all the microtransactions.

I haven't heard about this. I may take a look. But I can't view any of that stuff here at work.

This game is actually made by the people who made All The Bravest. Remember that? That game where all you did was frantically tap and then pay money and/or wait hours to revive your party because there was no way to really win otherwise? Also you had to pay money to get the classic FF characters in your party, but you didn't even get to pick, you got one randomly?

Yeah this is a sequel to that.

BUT.

It's actually supposed to be really good. They god rid of the manic tapping, replaced it with a real ATB system with some strategy, and made the game playable fairly, such that winning is possible and you'll never hit a stamina problem requiring you to pay money unless you do a lot of grinding on the side. You can play through the game and the story without paying a penny.

I'm yet to pick it up myself but word on the street is that it's really good.

i'm sitting with most characters at lvl 20 and all levels beaten except the elite dungeons. its not bad for a time killer. you dont have to pay any $$$ at all if your just patient.

All the Bravest was trash, this game is actually fun. I don't plan on paying a cent and it's actually enjoyable for quick downtime on the shitter etc
