Anyone doing the Nintendo Miitomo app thing? I've been just to milk some my nintendo points but it's a bit boring without any friends.

Kitty made a character. I downloaded it, so I could make a character and help him get some achievements, or something, but Fado ended up making one and helping him out with it. Hers was... disturbing... lol.

I'm not too keen on those kinds of things, but I still have it installed in case someone needs it for something. Haven't made a character, though. I'm still kind of put off by how Nintendo handles online stuff in general, and don't even get me started on their stance on Pokémon!

I'll ping Kitty and tell him to take a look at the forums.

the only way to add friends is via facebook or twitter. my twitter is tehkei if you have it. add me then you can add me as a friend. the other way is via face to face, which I still haven't done and the reason why I asked ridere to get it :P

i mean at the least they could have done their stupid friend code scheme. I get in a slight way why nintendo is so afraid to put true networking in their products, but at the same time its an app meant to farm personal data for marketing purposes. It's not reeeeaally supposed to be for children.
And even if you ignored that much and bit their PR explanation that it's a way to get to know your friends better through questions you wouldn't normally ask, things like "So what did you do this weekend?" are pretty common things I would address to someone I speak to face to face. No one needs an app for that.
