Its not that bad, but its not that fun either... they defintely gotta add more quests/story to it... right now there is like 3 whole quests outside of the missions despite my havinh traveled through 6-8 of the free exploration zones and the most interesting thing I've found was a crafting merchant in the middle of nowhere.

On the other hand it does seem well geared towards the more casual gaming crowd that even starting from level 1 it shouldn't take long to max out, and the strict skill limits.

I personally won't be playing it, but I could see folks who liked/played DaoC pre-ToA going for guildwars.

I agree with Vurin...it was like "ooh nice instanced leveling zone with missions....but this is nothing really fun, new, or interesting"

It will sell to people because it has no monthly fee, however. Though, they could probably just go pick up an old copy of Diablo 2 for cheap and have more fun with the same gameplay.

i found it mildy enjoyble but remember this is an alpha preview i doubt we saw much of whats available and theres lots of stuff that can change. What i had a blast with was the pvp,which consequently is what they are spending most time on i believe. The 8 on 8 "Guild" pvp fight was a really fun game of capture the flag ^^
