Archimonde type mob in Hellfire Peninsula, easy quest with 3 people that gives an awesome trinket.

This area looks awesome, not sure how to get up there. 
Ogres type of a bridge 
I didnt take any SS's of the new major city where both alliance and horde reside w/o even being able to attack each other. It's an amazing place. |

the expantion looks pretty awsome.. i have a freind who's not lvl 60 even yet who say's he'll pay for me to come back to WoW and not even use my charicter ever if i helped him out with qeusts and shit.. considering it's free im considering it just so i can exploore the Xpac... corse i won't be quitting FFXI again over it.. unless it's fucking amazing |

I'd take WoW's completely seemless world over FF's 2 steps then LOADING SCREEN... any day of the week. Getting from Port Jeuno to Rulude was bullshit. Only thing i hate visually about WoW is their horrible character design when it comes to making sure armor doesnt overlap or go through eachother when standing idle. I loved FFXI's character and armor design. |

Keep in mind the character models arnt so great to look at in WoW but the enviroments and such far surpass FFXI. Not to mention that since BC came out we have no need to enter Molten Core, BWL, or AQ unless you just want to beat up the bosses for fun. Unlike Sky and camping Nidhogg still being high end things in FFXI. |

i always thought wows vibrant colors took away from the game, and me being a blm was very dissapointed with the magic effects. also it appears to have no depth, the shadows dont do their job veywell, and the shading isnt... well there is no shading. not to mention the character design sux... and the main thing i hated was the chat box and font. it just bugged me to no end. i like ff because to me, each character i see is a person, where as in WoW i saw everyone as wild beasts or an npc. |

Yeah, I found that to be the biggest drawback to FFXI. (Graphics argument aside), I think it is ridiculous how stuff released years ago, Sky and the 3 Kings still drop some of the best gear in the game. Square Enix really shot themselves in the foot by releasing new content... but not new/better gear. At least WoW knows how to progress. (I miss having multiple "classes" per character though, and the whole final fantasy world/theme). If only there was FFXI + WoW combined!

One thing FFXI had going for it and like most FF games was the story line. I loved having the storyline in the game with the Cinema's. I mean there is a story in WoW but it kind of gets beat to hell when your killing the "End all bad guy" over and over. Worldwise I would say that WoW is better then FFXI now that Outland has been released because there is just so much going on in each area. Especially the new pvp things in every area of Outland. If SE had actually released new gear along with new things in their expansions instead of Wyrms that drop maybe 1 good thing... then FFXI wouldnt have suffered so much. I cant wait till AoC though, I like that the armor isnt going to be painted on and all of the things about Castles and sieges. |
