World of Warcraft Goes Open Beta (PC)
Blizzard will give you another change to participate in the WoW beta program.

Blizzard has revealed that they will be opening the prevously closed World of Warcraft beta test to the general public this coming Thursday October 14th.

Just sign up is usually how open betas work.

I look forward to hearing the horror stories of downloading patch 1.01 of the game the day following the release of the open beta. And patch 1.03 two days later.

This, of course, would all be done in an attempt to stop all the 523452345234 character editor/trainers that will be made immediately upon release.

Diablo I/II and Starcraft, however, were fun... for their part. But damn. This game is going to be more full of annoying teenagers than a pokemon convention.

small request...

im not sure (being a euro) if i can sign up for the open beta, id really like to and i hear you can download all the files once accepted (or get a cd sent to you).

What im wondering is if anyone in the USA could sign up (someone that doesnt want it / or someone with a family friend in the USA) and send me the details for it? i will fill in the form with 'fake' info to try and get in but if it fails would anyone be able to help me out, then i can downlaod it all and play . Ill be forever in your debt and if i leave ffxi due to it you can even have my equip for helping me, i really wanna get an inlook to this game so i can decide what i should do next in ffxi, if i consider leaving i have a few things i really wanna do first (mostly exploring some places).

Well i might play both but i cant tell yet, i still love ffxi but recently things have been quite for me ingame all i do is xp and i wanna do more events, but those seem to happen at 2am my time anyhow if you could get me a key that would be sweet

Maybe ill play WoW during daylight hrs and at 2am jump in ffxi for events

there are hundreds of dependancies heh, most of all i want to play with everyone i know

When I sign you up, I'll send you all of the information that you need. The only problem might be is if they transfer characters over from OB to the release. I don't know why, it just might. lol

Yea i know what you mean, from what i hear though you can play hardcore 24/7 and hit lvl 60 in 10days lol

But hopefully they will actually remove all characters so people can all start over, one thing i didnt like much about FFI was joinign and seeing people lvl 70 around, sure its ncie to call on them to help with quests but really it would be much nicer to have everyone in the same situation (also means if you want to be something different you can) - hmmm ill stop talking about this, i really want to just play the game

I dunno how easy you can get keys but i have a few friends irl that would love to play this they were thinking of playing ffxi and im still trying to get them in,but if you can get extra beta accounts that ican give them maybe i can get them playing more MMO's they are just concerned about the whole pay2 play thing but im sure once they play they wont be able to stop
