I definately have to say Priest is a lot harder than mage at low level. What piss me off is I'd be in group with warriors. They'll kill something, and start looting while the other mob is still beating on me. I am sure they don't mean it but with the lag looting issue, it's BAD!!

No, you can actually change your loot setting so if they loot, you get some of the items, or prevents them from looting until everything is dead.

I don't know which setting it is, but I like the one where everyone can loot the corpse, but you can only see loot which the game has decided is for you, that is, unless you don't pick it up, then anyone can take. Probably because it mimics auto-lot here in FFXI a little. :P

Might be "Group Loot"? Don't know.

Which option is that under? I didn't see anything for loot setting when I was messing around in the options.

When you're the party leader, click on the crown on the upper left of your character icon. The menu will drop down.

Storage on a new character sucks, 16 slot backpack. You can add storage by making, buying, or looting bags. They come anywhere from 6 to 12 slots in size and you can use up to 4 of them. So, total storage is 64. You also get storage in your deposit box. You access that thru banks in the major cities. That will hold up to 96 items; 24 initally, and then you can buy bag slots (which are expensive to a new player). So, storage is pretty good but not great. Pretty sure people will have mule characters.

Several loot settings. If you're parties with people you know and trust, it is best to set it to free-for-all. That way, everything gets picked up, and you can divide it all up later. Round robin, you each take turns looting. Kinda unfair in that your turn may come up for some low level crappy kill that aggro'd the pt while someone else's comes up for an elite. Also, if your group tends to spread out and kill stuff, you may not notice when your turn comes up if it wasn't killed close to you. There is also "need before greed" and "group". Not sure how they work exactly, I've always played with friends and done free-for-all, or strangers and done round robin.

im on test 13 with several people inc kayne and rein, ponuh had a char there but not seen him in a while.

as for pack space within about 8hrs of playing i had 4 8 slot packs so thats like 32 + the orig 16 giving me 48 slots :D and i have not filled it yet and banks work the same but with almost double the space you have.
