Our last MC raid was very good. We've been trying Geddon now. We got the strat down quite good, just need to get rid of the human factors *coughlivingbombexplodingourhealerscough* and we'll kill him. We are moving much faster in there now. People are now executing the battles much better and faster too. Read this thread to see the loot of this week raid (12 epics, maybe 14 since it was written )

As a side note, we have killed Azuregos 4 times now, I was there for 3 of them. I have yet to win the roll on Unmelting Ice girdle and/or Typhoon. We are gonna try Kazzak and Onyxia again this week. Oh, I won this on Magmadar : http://www.thottbot.com/index.cgi?i=27079

We tried Onyxia for the 2nd time tonight. We were happy to take her into phase 3 at 29%. We didn't have a full raid group and we only had 2 priests... 6 druids though. We were also lacking in ranged dps. On our last try, we didn't get a single Deep Breath.

1 thing I'd like to know. When she lands on phase 3, does your MT poull her back to the north or just fight where she lands ? We had a hard time getting her back in the same place than Phase 1.

Were stuck on ragnoros =/ have killed all the Mc bosses 4x now (majordomo 5x) and onxiya 5x. Are best on ragnoros is 37% now so were getting there.


Oh and also, we pull her back to the stage 1 area in the north. Also have all mages stand on the hill in the middle/south, if they stand in the right spot when they get feared they barly move. Also when you get her to 10% go all out, dont stop even if someone pulls hate.

We were thinking about doing what Goonifist do in their video. All casters jump on the sides while Melee keep moving back and forth to avoid fear. I sued this trick vs Magmadar and it works really well. Instead of being feared in all directions, I freeze until fear wears off.

We really need to go back with a full raid and more ranged dps. We were doing pretty good, but tend to loose some ranged guys during phase 2. Also, this was barely a testing run so we didn't use Greater Fire Protection Potions until our last try. I didn't use any healing pots either. I don't think the MT bothered farming the Lung Cocktail for 50 stamina. When we feel confident, I bet we will take the time to farm the mats for all this stuff and also have our alchemist makes some flask of titans ( 1200hp bonus for 2 hours, Yes please ! )

unless you play horde characters, you need dwarf priests to take onyxia down in phase 3

also all melees need bandages/potions/fire protection potions

btw, our guild is currently stuck on garr in MC if any of you have suggestion as to how we can beat him, im on alliance side

Garr isn't hard. But, you need 3 warlocks minimum. 4 would be perfect.

First of all, take a t least a good 10 minute to assign targets using Hunters Mark and have 3-4 warlocks assist them so that they all have a golem to banish. After that, continue by using either hunters if you have more and/or priest with Mind vision and assign the remaining adds to your tanks. It's important that the hunters and priests keep their debuff on the target to make it easier for everyone. Warlocks and Warriors must not loose their target.

Then, a Paladin will DA pull to the MT, Hunters will peel their mobs away to the warlocks. The warriors then pick up their mobs. Kill all the unbanished adds, kill Garr, then finish off the banished ones. Garr has a lot of HP, so don't be afraid to go all out on DPS and Debuffs.
The better you prepare the pull, the easier the fight will be.

But man, Shazzrah is a bitch ! He's sooo annoying with his teleports. Obviously we wiped a couple of times trying some tactics, but it was getting late, so it's gonna be for next week. We go for Onyxia again tomorrow

Last night, we had a blast in MC, we went through the place from Garr ( which we killed on 2nd try ) and then, killed the 4 next boss on first try.
Geddon, Shazzrah, Golemagg and Sulfuron all went down on the first try. The last 3 bosses were server first on Bronzebeard ^^. Best of all. I won the rol on Breasplate of Might on Golemagg w00t. Tuesday, we'll try Majordomo and *crossing-fingers* possibly Ragnaros. Can't wait.

Majordomo DOWN !! We got this on 3rd try tonight.

Then we went and spawned Ragnaros for the fun of it. ROFL, I'M still amazed we got him down to 87% before wipe. We didn,t really try, tanks went down in 10 sec. Man he hit me for 2k. It was dam fun though. This week, we killed Shazz, Golemagg, Sulfuron and Majordomo all for the first time in the same raids. This is our best week so far. Killed ONyxia 2 weeks ago. We are on a roll

Grats Zakath good to hear your guild is doing so well. I am so busy irl and with FFXI taking up most of my free gaming time I don't have time for WoW. I am happy to see you have gotten so far lately in MC.

Pushed Onyxia down monday as a guild-only raid nwo. That was a first time. Funny fact, MT went down at 25% or so. But, I jumped in and tanked the bitch FTW !! Recorded the fight, it was just too good !

1st real try on Rag tonight. Took him down to 70% and died as the first Sons spawned. Was cool, but we are very far from there yet. The MT knockback is very nasty, gotta time it right with OT that all dies from fall dmg sigh...

Little update as to where our guild is at now. The only Bosses we haven't killed yet are Kazzak and Ragnaros. We got Onyxia very easily now ^^;;

We are having a hard time getting a chance for Kazzak. The Horde on our server are camping him with 3 guilds But, I'm sure we can get him now. It's been a long while since the last time we tried and we are much more organized now, and geared too.

Zak what happened to The Underground?

My guild dominated Azuregos for 3-5 weeks or so. Then both popped at the same time, and we decided to take Kazzak instead, so the 80 horde got to kill Azuregos for the first time legitly since they were introduced.

Scratch Lord Kazzak now. He went down tonight on first try. This was an Alliance first on our server. Horde had him camped for so long, we finally got to him before them tonight.
