Its pretty interesting. This game could have some fun world PVP if people didnt have to worry so much about DKs.


Someone asked how they would deal with Quest NPCs and such. He just replied saying that the game now offers a lot more to do than kill an NPC over and over.

So lets just hope the Beta Test for BC goes well then.

You give them and inch and they'll take a mile. The same people bitching about DKs I'm SURE will sit there and camp Lakeshire NPCs for hours

They should just make quest npcs non-targetable. There's no real reason to kill a quest NPC other than griefing. I think DK's are a dumb idea, and I'm happy to see them go, if only just temporarily.

But if there's an issue with Quest NPCs, then they should just make them non-targetable and solve the problems there.

My personal opinion, however, is that DKs were also largely put in as a way to discourage world pvp, so the servers wouldn't crash as much. Maybe they're hoping the new hardware they rolled out on some (has it been added to all yet?) servers will fix the crashes caused by pvp fests in the major cities.
