What guild did you get into any way aldy? I was in IM for a while, but found wow took way to long to play and the reward for it wasnt worth my time. I quit the guild (and game basically)

I'm not sure, but I'm going to be a warrior. Because I hear they get to be MT(Main Tank). Hoping this is true?

Warrior is not only main tank, but also can be with the right equip and talent build the top DD in the game lol. Its kinda broken and I wouldn't be surprised if it is nerfed or other classes will be buffed to compensate.

Tanking is MUCH more active in wow than in FFXI (as is everything). Since taunt doesn't build hate you sunder as your primary source of building hate. With more than one mob it can be very challenging at times

I wouldn't say that necessarily. NIN or PLD/NIN has to do quite a bit to hold hate end game in some instances. NIN have to use ninjitsu enfeebles, keep up shadows and job abilities to hold hate along with their DDing. PLD/NIN have to keep shadows up and cure not only themselves but others to maintain and hold hate over a long fight, they also use job abilites (maybe even use lolcover). WoW you mash macros that do abilities and stand in certain places just like any other MMO. It isn't brain surgery haha.

Undead lock is the equivalent to kick ass. Very fun class to play, it's kind of like rdm in ffxi, but also a little like a smn. It's great for pvp and group instances. You'll never be bored of it, there's so many options for playstyle.

Edit: and you get a free mount at 40 :P

Undead have a racial that gives them an advantage in PvP. It makes it so they can break out of sleep, charm, fear, etc. When you get your Insignia of the Horde you will have a second timer with which to get out of shit like that.

If you are more of a casting playstyle go for Undead. Undead can cannibalize ability to eat nearby corpses to regain mana and health, which greatly reduces downtime. Will of Forsaken as a racial ability resists charm, fear, ect. Resist darkness, good against casters of dark magic. Undercity kicks ass over Ogrimmar x 100.

If you want to be more melee (giggle giggle...melee lock!) go for Orc. Orc also has most starting stamina in game and gets a pet bonus, also Hardiness Increase resistance to knockout and stun effects.

Cannibalize is ok and I use it a little, but really its all about FotW. Resist Darkness comes into play against certain classes (Shadow Priests lol). Bleh playing other races as Horde isn't worth it unless I have to. Undead ftw unless you are planning as going Shaman or Druid, then you can't go Undead. Blood Elfs look pretty damn hot with AOE silence.

With more than one mob, the fear of adds, ect it becomes much more difficult. It's fast paced and oftentimes healers have to constantly heal the tanks to keep them alive, and if that's the case then if you lose hate your healers will die very very quickly.
