I decided to upgrade somethings yesterday and started the purchasing process, i bought the E6850 so i could take the advantage of having 1333FSB MB support, i also bought my 2nd GeForce 8800GTX for SLI... I got vista ultimate as well because i'll be buying 2 extra gigs of mem and wanted to have x64 advantages. Do any of you use Vista? And what pro's & con's have you seen so far.

Haha, you lamer mods deleted my post ;p

Anyway, for an actual response:

I have Vista on my Laptop, and so far, theres nothing really "extraordinary" about it, Other than a fresh coat of paint and pretty icons, I havn't really played with it enough to see how much its really different from XP, other than not running all my XP based software and making FFXI a bitch to get started, haha.

My card Supports DirectX 10... DirectX 10.1 is backwards compatible.
The place i work at now has just finished fully integrading Vista, everyone seems to enjoy it, except the networking side of it.

I got Vista Ultimate from a buddy who works at Intel and it's fine. I noticed I connect to my wireless network really fast after booting up. But other than that.... I dunno, it's cleaner than XP for sure, I prefer it, but I don't really see anything extraordinary about it.

Where I used to work, some people had Vista and most had XP. Vista had a bunch of problems, but it was prolly because they were used for a bunch of schools and had different programs and such.

I think most companies have drivers to fix what was wrong with Vista now, but theres still bugs.
