I liked the episode because it was juicy manga material, too bad ishida is such a panzy in this episode. Next episode should be a little better, meanwhile the movie comes out on the 22nd!? I think so...

Yea but there probably wont be a decent quality translation of the movie for a while. The animation in 153 looks a lot nicer than the past episodes.

166 was pretty good, though any episode without a hint of my lover Kurotsuchi does somewhat bore me. Is it weird that I find that guy sexy? lol

I think orihime is the only character that can bring any romantic hope into bleach, as seen in the last episode. She's kind of annoying sometimes and she does seem very fragile but it's all part of a pretty decent story even with is up's and down's. You're a freak for mentioning Kurotsuchi btw.

edit: in regards to orihime and a romantic role, it doesn't really do anything for me. I see that they are trying for alittle romance with her liking ichigo, but it just seems alittle to me. Its not really an exciting storyline, but maybe thats just because orihime to me seems like a steriotypical wimp anime girl heh. Rukia/Ichigo makes more sense to me, even though its obvious right now they have no romantic interests in eachother

Speaking of Bankai, anyone who keeps up with the manga, how much further is the manga from the anime? I'm asking in refference to Bankai because i'm curious if any of the other captain's bankai have been revealed in the manga that have not in the anime, like soi fon or ukitake

Speaking of Mayuri, this weeks chapter has something revealing about him. I'm liking these back story chapters about him and the Vizards and Urahara.

I loved seeing the Ichigo v. Grimjaw fight animated. Tho I'm not looking forward the the Apollo fight since it felt way to drawn out, I do hope its animated as well as this fight was.


Spoilers I guess:

@ Madi: [spoiler] Regarding how far the anime is from the manga. There still is the rest of Apollo vs. Ishida/Renji > Nnoitra vs. Ichigo > Nnoitra vs. Nel > Zommari vs Byakuya > Apollo vs. Mayuri and Nnoitra vs. Kenpachi. After that its mostly story progression and no fights other than what looks to be a Ulquiorra/Ichigo match up a long with other fights. But right now they're doing a 100 years before the manga thing with the SS before it moves on to the next arc I guess.

All the listed espada eventually release and well as those captains with exception of the one who still doesn't know his swords name.[/spoiler]

Why are you bleach fasting? o.O Its just getting good. Are you one of those people that likes to wait a few months before reading/watching it that way you have a bunch of new content to view all at once? I know people who do that. Fight on ichigo and grim was nice until the ending was jist huge turnover.

As for Apollo was funny as hell when they tried their best shot then Apollo left telling them to be ready when he comes back.

[spoiler]Sadly we've entered the filler zone. It was to be expected, they're actually moving at a fast pace but a filler at its current mark feels out of place. I thought this fight was going to be dragged out but it was done perfectly.

Naruto's in filler mode too (I think) and it shouldn't be since the manga is so far ahead of the anime, unlike bleach and they also drag out their fights with long stare downs and power ups. I want to see the Hidan/Kakuzu arc animated already. [/spoiler]

Why do you people tolerate "filler" in a cartoon show with absolutely no merit anyways? Take the horrible storytelling of a video game and take out the interesting interactivity and animate it at 6 frames per second--you've got anime.

You can do much better than that Ponuh. Ive seen much better work.
