That and a million other reasons. It reads like a four year old wrote it. Also it's hilarious that Reuters would run such a horrendously stupid story.

+1 to that. The monster does emerge from the water and drop parasites..but it's not similar to the drawing at all, neither are the parasites. Actually both looked much creepier on the movie.

Very few things are original anymore. If you're sueing someone for something they stole from you, you should get sued for something you stole from someone else.

I thought the movie was okay. The shaky handcam made me a little nauseous. It had its cool parts, but it was just kinda meh. None of the characters were that likeable.

I saw the movie the other night, liked it! I think its one of the best and most innovative modern creature features.
I sometimes go see movies alone if I'm out and don't want to go home or have some time to kill. Going with friends can be annoying because no one ever shows up on time and I always end up missing the previews.

I saw it and I really liked it. it was interesting but I do with they told you more about the monster and those little things. Espacily after leaveing you without any facts for so long I was hopeing to have most my questions answered during it. Also my Brother left the Theathers to throw up in thew middle of it haha.

Really? Danny got sick during it? What a fag lololol.

I thought it was pretty cool. I was a little cheesed that the movie didnt answer any questions (they do, but in a "Lost" style.

Theres a massive backstory to the entire movie. Check out the Wiki.

Ill find more links, that doesnt really cover just how detailed the backstory was. The cloverfield universe even crosses over into a few Heroes episodes (The company responsible for waking the monster is in Heroes)

Just got home from the theater, and damn, it was awesome. It does leave you wanting more, though. Alot more.
