the show is probably half assed. Chances are the scripts have been sitting in their offices for quite a while collecting dust while they finish up whatever they have left on the more important shows. It probably will finish is a stupid cliffhanger that nobody will care about either lol

mikey do tell me how you are an expert in making such claims about everything haha. This is a strike show; it's a safe, recognizable IP that idiots(definition: anyone with a unquenched penchant for 80s television) will watch
