It looks pretty good and I will almost certainly buy it just because its Diablo 3, but I'm only going to play it with my roommate on the LAN. Dealing with random Mikeys on BNET is not my idea of fun.

diablo has never had subscription fees. you buy the game, and you play online for free. it's probably going to be the same. servers have held 8 players max.

just got done watching some of the gameplay videos for diablo 3 and it looks like a really fun game. will definetely pick it up, thinking about buying the d1/d2 battlechest thing to try out.
