Just a little Tim Burton Movie that will catch some buzz. It reminds me of the old school Tool music videos...which means I want to see it lol

There is a plethora of summer blockbusters this year:

X-Men Origins - seeing it this tomorrow

Walt Disney's Earth - screw you guys, say what you want but I'm watching it this weekend as well and I bet it's GOOD!

GI Joe - Still on the fence, the action looks good...story-wise - wait and see lol.

Star Trek - I'm not a trekkie, but i'm nerdy enough to want to see it. Sylar now has Vulcan powers....I'm in! :o

Fighting - I feel old, but I want to almost call this movie a borderline chick flick and teen angst-ridden emo film for some reason. I think this is gonna be a damn pop-culture Fast and Furious spin-off where every damn teenager will think they're Chuck Liddel after seeing this movie.

Year One - lol

Terminator Salvation - Personally, I have wanted to see this movie almost more than Transformers 2...speaking of

Transformers 2 - 54 days and counting down...

*Placed in the rental que*

2012 - I may actually go see this one...

Angels & Demons - I think the movie trailer pretty much summed up this movie - but I'll still prolly rent it

Pixar's "UP"

Night at the Museum 2 - more of the same...but different...but really more of the same...rent

The Wolfman - November 2009

Public Enemies - *this does look really good though - Depp plays John Dillinger

The Taking of Pelham 123 - I bet I know how it ends...j/k

G-Force - I kinda like Nick Cage's career, rodents left out of a cage animated, yea sure, i'd rent it, I rented Bolt.

add your thoughts and input, I will post what I think about Wolverine after this weekend.

HAHA! I forgot to finish that sentence and embellish there, I meant to say I kinda like watching Nick Cage's career go down this spiral of suck. Oh well.

YEA, Bangkok Dangerous sucked, and my advice for anyone that wants to see knowing...don't.

wikipedia that movie plot and you will be like...what acid-induced, cocained up, Hollywood CEO even allowed that pitch.

Anyway, enclosed below is the whole Shane Acker 11 min. short film of 9 Tim Burton is adapting:

I like it. However I am now wondering if the full length feature film will just be the same plot somewhat...

X-Men Origins - Wolverine...

Where to begin...

I will say that if you liked X-Men or even X-Men 2 enough to watch in theatres then this movie may not disappoint. Did I like this movie...yes.

However there were some slow parts and as far as I am concerned, as I once was all about some Marvel comics as a kid I had to roll my eyes on how much deviation this movie had from the Marvel Universe. Some parts were spot on...others rules were severely bent enough to make me a bit angry.

I would love to go into it but that would spoil this film. However I am at an impasse:

I am a bit flustered with what Hollywood has done to this movie.

In short, I think it was due to the fact that this film could have been better than it was but instead execs shot for a PG-13 rating.

Bottom line: Is it worth it to see in theatres?

*It's enough to make me go hmmm there.

Star Trek is getting more positive reviews...

i kinda gave up on the series after x-men 3, it plain sucked. what they need to do is have someone take over the project and start anew, much like batman, make it super dark and violent.

meh, I enjoyed The Rock and Gone in 60 Seconds as well, so he has a few good ones lol, but does he have any more?

*edit

Just saw Star trek earlier today.

I thought it was really well done and I won't go into it but I was pleased paying the money to watch it in a theatre. :)

\:D/ thumbs up as it was worth it. 8)
