Slender Man

The Slender Man Myth was first discovered on the SomethingAwful forums. It tells of a paranormal shapeshifter who takes on the singular form of a tall, slender, faceless, bald-headed, suited man and uses light and shadow to stalk, terrorize, and in a few cases kill his victims. The reason Slender Man is so important in the Marble Hornets story is that it is generally believed that he appears as the subject of many of The Entries and may have been the cause of Alex Kralie's paranoia. He also seems to be the main subject of the side-stories Slender Hunter and Just Another Fool.

The link above has a lot of information.

In no way do I think this is real, but its so well done. Lots of people believe in this and many feel its 100% real.

This reminds me of the Mothman. That movie creeped me out. We have big windows in our living room, and I'm afraid to walk by them at night sometimes.

Tell you what I hate most are sliding glass patio doors. At night when you have lights on inside and it's dark outside you end up with this little sphere of light on the yard surrounded by a wall of pitch black shadow. I do not like it.

Same reason I never use flashlights. Rather be in the dark than surrounded by it. haha

Yah, I hate that dark outside, light inside shit. Can't see outside. I always have my blinds down IRL. Don't want those creepers looking inside the house.

I'm putting my stilts on and walking into Tehkai's room right now IRL. He went to bed about 20 minutes ago.

It is real..but it isn't. Make sense?

Marble Hornets and these entries are an ARG (or alternate reality game)...have fun playing...err...guessing...err...participating?

Best explanation I can give is it is kind of like the mini-games played online over the internet involving common users. Kind of what the TV series "Lost" did as part of its viral campaign.

Cool vidz though.

I had a stalker irl a few years ago, one of the things he would do is hang out somewhere near my house out of sight and peer through our windows all day and night, then call the house and describe what we were doing at that exact moment and how he was going to use that to his advantage to rape and kill me. He'd call the house every 5 mins, and we had to have an answering machine/recorder pick it up for evidence so you were forced to listen to it. My parents got blinds for most the windows after that which I always keep closed. After the guy went to jail finally and my parents would open a lot of the blinds and took some down but I'm still extremely uncomfortable with any windows at all. I don't go near them and keep my own always shut tight.
A few months ago at work I got moved into a new office with a giant picture window which I always keep the blinds shut and it drives my co-workers nuts since the giant window is considered a perk - but I dont like the idea of someone being able to look at me or watch what I'm doing without me knowing (it's ground level).
