Haven't been on this board in fuckin forever.. couldn't get the password from my old account because I don't have access to that email anymore.. anyway.. nerdy as it is, I made a facebook group with all the original members of FS just so we could all kinda keep in touch with one another since there was a lot of people I missed talking to from the game and all.

If any of you here are old FS members, feel free to join, or if you guys happen to have contact with any old FS members, point em this way.

Also, hi everyone else >_>
Anyway I can have the email changed on my old Vaelen account?

Thanks Ketrebu. And what do you mean Kluya? I played 14 only somewhat during the beta. I think Rushal played it at one point, but I'm not sure when.

My bad. Somebody referred to Rushal as Vaelen in FFXIV and I thought it was you that whole time, haha. So many people play FFXIV with different names I get confused. I didn't know Rushal in FFXI, I remember you though.

Yeah the only names I've ever really used in games are Vaelen or Arokoth (Vallenia for my female paladin in wow, though, lol).

I had a feeling that was the case, just wanted to be 100% sure. And I would hope people would remember me. Still hard to believe it was 8 years ago that I started playing the game, though. I'm actually updating it right now.. since I quit before even finishing CoP out, I wanna get on and and just see what the game is like these days.

Yeah its so weird now, haha. I'm on Odin as Vaelenn.. only got a level 12 warrior or something like that so far. Seems really damn easy to level now though. Though, sadly, I don't think the game experience will ever be anything nearly what it was back then.

It was crazy reading back on these boards about stuff.. hearing about Shiloh and Myskhal passing away. Both were awesome people :(

I'd maybe play FFXI again if there was an answer to the gear and skill ups issue. I got to RDM48, and there was shit for gear available on the AH.

I think you can pretty much just wear whatever as noone gives a shit because they all suck. They did make some food dishes that increase your skill ups, but I don't know by how much.

Yeah I noticed when I tried it once again back int he day with level sync it makes it kinda impossible to skill up if you aren't out soloing. I remembered just seeing practically everyone on Ifrit out leveling in Valkurm.. even the 75s. Sucks when you'd be like level 50 or 60 and have skill levels of a level 20 character. ಠ_ಠ

The new thing is grounds of valor pages in Crawler's Nest which isn't as bad as that since you can sync to the 30s or so :p
They have food to help you skill up now at least, but the worse part is there are level 90 people with skills of level 30 person if not less.
