Times like this I wish we had a "history" timeline of player events like FFXIV's lodestone keeps track of. FFXI released in NA in October 2003. I recall hitting level 75 something like Jan/Feb next year, cuz I was a slow poke. Dynamis was added around Feburary too. Ballista was added in April. SE keep an patch history for FFXI here: http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxi/threads/17021 i remember at the end of february 2004, when i got burned out for a month, my perma was at level 58 and the highest level players were mid 60s, (toady was 68, kayne 65, i think vurin was 63 but also burned out). can't have been jan/feb 04. it's also sad i remember that. |

Well, Jan/Feb was a guess based on remembering being 75 when doing Dynamis. But I guess cheeseburgers didnt do Dynamis until a month or two later. Again, this is why it'd be nice to have had a recorded timeline history. |

Maybe it was Jan/Feb of 2005. I know I didn't hit 75 until summer of 2004, because I took a few month-long breaks in between, because I got burnt out competing with other NA WHMs trying to get into JPN parties, since we all seemed to quickly outlevel all the other NA players. haha I'm pretty sure I stole all you guys from Capzero's LS around that time, too, but I think you and Cyn and that RDM fellow (Forgot his name  ) were lower level than me at that time. It sure is hard to recall.

Croucont, right? I still wonder what the hell happened to him. He didn't talk much sure but he was reliable and always turned up to lots of stuff. Then one day he just logged on and said "I'm done with this game, bye" -- and to my knowledge, nobody ever heard from him again. |

lol I remember Capzero, he was crazier than I was back in the day. And yeah Rid, I remember Ket, Cyn, you, Crou, and maybe a few others I forgot about being stolen by CKD haha. I think Kio went to Monarchy before going to CKD and I vaguely remember being in Sentinels with Jong before she went to CKD. But my memory is a bit hazy |

I remember coming back from my month off, old Whisp was sitting in the Orastery in Port Windurst near the Fishers Guild. I vaguely recall the NPCs in there casting magic or something. Anyway Shiloh sent me a tell and was like, "While you were gone, Yarr started up a new linkshell." I said, good, cause I dropped my Hokuten pearl and didn't have a linkshell for a while. "He and a couple of former Hokuten guys went and killed a land king." Or something like that. I was really excited. I think CKD had only been formed for like 4 days when I came back from my hiatus and quickly joined up  Yes, a Whispless CKD existed for a brief period lol

I lied about my birthday when creating a playonline account so I could play two days early on Oct 28th 2003. I turned 18 that Oct 30th. I'm now engaged to the lady you may have seen briefly on XIV that went by the handle Emilia, and we just closed on a house Friday before last. |
