Honestly it says you can post fankti materials + Screen shots, but no music or video of/frim beta. I guess http://support.na.square-enix.com/rule. ... &tag=authc is the actual license. "The Materials you may use also includes in-game screenshots captured by you, as well as assets and information posted at http://www.finalfantasyxiv.com and FINAL FANTASY XIV-specific official websites" and the following two sentence sbeing the pertinent bits. |

Basically it boils down to: You're allowed to post screenshots as long as you make it clear that the screenshots legally belong to Square Enix. They suggest putting the following line somewhere on the page: Quote: FINAL FANTASY XIV ©2010 SQUARE ENIX CO., LTD. FINAL FANTASY is a registered trademark of Square Enix Holdings Co., Ltd. All material used under license. As long as you put that somewhere on the page you have free reign to post screenshots, but not videos or music. (As long as there's no porn, it says, lol.) I think you should just make a "Pictures" thread and put that line from SE in the first post, and then just let people go to town with that thread. Murph! Why didnt you tell me you were playing. A bunch of us from Ifrit play together on the same server. Can we put our character name in the screenshots? Whisp They dont have an exact onion head, but they have stuff close too it. The new Tarutaru arnt exactly like the old one (all the races are like that), but i feel like these characters have a more classic Final Fantasy feel. It feels more like the Yoshitaka Amano style of Final Fantasy style. Im going to the Toronto Fanxpo (its comicon) and Yoshitaka Amano is going to be there. Im trying to think of what I would get him to sign. |

I thought I did say it way back when the Alpha came out 
I've been playing with Cyix, Noodle, Athel, Vuce an Erart on Emperor. I'm not sure which server we'll pick on release, personally i'd like to see CKD and Monarchy on the same server again. I just left names off the screenshoots because I wasn't sure. Yarr: Get him to sign an eye patch w/ silver pen or something. |

Oh and sadly all the crafting/harvesting classes can only do "stone throw" which does like 1 damage and is pretty pointless. |

No tricks that I know of, I just registered and so did Ash. We were accepted in the second Alpha invite, I think the 3rd or 4th test. Edit: I forgot I did register mine with the FFXIII code it came with, however Ash's isn't attached to that. She got her beta invite about 2 weeks after I did.  Completely random I guess.

Yay! I like this thread. Question: Are you having to do any form of manipulation to get the higher resolution screen shots? Or did Square finally allow for in-game shots higher than 640x480? |
