I just want to get an idea of which jobs are popular and which aren't.
And yes I did just re-read the title and see "Hand job" and no it was not on purpose lol.

Since i'll probably main Gladiator, I've been thinking of doing Armorer on the side, so I can repair my own armor which will most likely eventually be all plate-based. I'll get plenty ore from also doing Miner (I play a miner in like every single game that has it.)

I'm thinking along the same line as Ketrebu. If not armorer then blacksmith for spears.

I really enjoyed goldsmithing on FFXI, although I didn't get very far, so I might try to go that route again along with mining.

Weaver first, but I'll eventually do others.

I voted for Weaver, but it looks like we'll be choking on Conjurer/Weavers in this guild, so it's up for change.

I always felt in FFXI that weavers dealt with a wealthy clientele. I don't know, it just seemed like mages were always loaded. So I picked weaver here lol. But in reality it depends on what my main class will be.

ALL OF THEM

I enjoyed doing goldsmithing during the beta so I'll continue with that. I'll probably do weaving and any other necessary skills for a couple levels so I can at least repair my gear in the field.

I suppose I'll give Alchemy a shot, since we're going to have a ton of weavers in the linkshell, it looks like. Alchemists can make/repair a good majority of Conjurer wands, so that should probably be useful. And yay for potions.

Maybe I can resurrect my fishing/alchemy/black ink money making of FF11 somehow with some new fish/alchemy synth.

Looks like I'll probably be woodworker for lances and I'll just make sure not to piss off Ketrebu so I always have an armorer at need. haha
