i know i wont be able to keep up with the faster levelers. but i dont want to be left out of stuff. does anyone else plan on leveling casual to moderate speed? like maybe get to level 15 by the end of the week, level 20 at the end of week two, etc.? thats about the speed i'd like.

anyone who is thinking there is pressure to level fast, i'm saying there's not, we can {Team up}

Once I update my PC's, my wife and I will be casual. I know I'll never be your Thunderstomp, but I would love to hang out.

I'll probably be very casual. Whisp, you'll probably even go faster than me. I'm in school right now, and I really actually like to study and keep up with everything. That, and I feel guilty when I play instead of read books irl.

yeah whisp I dont want to be like

Even the original CKD had Talisin, who took like 20 years to get a level 75. We formed the guild well before the average person was 75. I think only Kayne and a few others were 75 when CKD was formed. I only created CKD as a way to keep the top first generation players together with the idea of being an HNMLS later.

I promise I'll be playing casual! I allowed FFXI to consume way too much of my social life, and I can't do that with my current girlfriend (who is moving into my house soon).

Hell, everybody is already rank 10. I didn't kill a single mob or level a single craft last night haha. I just caught up with some old FFXI friends.

That being said, I will probably be level 10 in 2 weeks, level 15 in 3 weeks, etc. Expect me to be the slowest on these forums to get to max level.

I hope to be the max level by the time CKD becomes an HNM LS on Trabia. I will do my best contribute to LS events and make time for that stuff...but until then I am gonna play casual.

yea i was level 67 and was in the midst of a 1-month break from FF when CKD formed

i even recall running around port windurst on my newly activated Whisp while listening to shiloh describe CKD to me for the first time

i still kinda think of myself as a founding member of CKD, although i was like 5 days late. i remember at one point you mentioned how i was the only person after the formation of the linkshell who got into CKD without a vote or consensus. i wonder if i still hold that distinction..?

Ditto to all the above. Still trying to convince Ash to even play, but with a little one on the way I doubt we'll have much time. At least until I am able to teach her how to play :)

I have a few days off, so I'm hitting it pretty hard, bit after that, work + sleep + dogs = a few hours a day of game time, most likely.

My days off are going to be thursday fri and saturday, so that is when my play time will also be. Thur and fri will be my true days off, as the wife will be working. Its strange to me, admitting that I will be a casual player. In the past I dedicated more time to games than I do now with my job. We'll see how this pans out.

I want everyone to know that this wont be a linkshell bitching at lowbies to hurry up and level. Id like there to be a nice split if possible.

Remember, drama free... lol

Unlike 5-6 years ago, I actually have a proper 8-4 job instead of just some university classes every couple of days each week. This also means no more staying up til 3-4AM all the time too. Should slow me down a lot.

I'd still like to level up quickly though. But first I've got to find a shield...

That's awesome Murph! I didn't know you had a little one on the way. That will take up some time, for sure :)

I'll also be playing but I'm thinking it is going to be about mid-October...I don't want to jinx my final semester. I may play a lot more near winter holidays but for the most part I am thinking I'll just play the game intermittently as time/irl allows.
