Also try this:

and this:

I still cant' get it to work as well as it did in OB, and even then it wasn't worth the time/effort.

Two full-time mages trying to figure out FF14's version of skillchains as newbs 8 years later, it's some kind of adorable.

Did they fix the "more than one player tried to initiate" bug? That was the only thing preventing me from pulling them off properly in beta 2/3/4. Only way to get past that stupid bug was to mash G a lot once set up and there was a chance the regimen would go off randomly.

I managed to pull off Regimen of Ruin and Regimen of [Something else].

The thing that bothers me about Regimens is that while setting one up you're completely unable to do anything else. You can't cast cures, use guard, or anything else, so it's likely you'll just get pounded on while trying to make it work. It's also incredibly hard to get it to turn off once it's turned on, thanks to the stupid bug mentioned above. You can't set them up before the battle either because you can't set one up against a monster not in combat. Because that bug's been there for several betas and SE don't seem to acknowledge there's anything wrong with Regimens in any interviews I have a funny feeling the problem is caused by lag/latency and it works fine in Japan.

If they've fixed that bug then it should be easy now.

Nah they havent fixed it. BRs are still broken. Each time we try to pull off our move, it just starts a new BR and doesnt chain.

Performing RUIN is imperative in combat. It literally doubles the dmg output of all members attacking the target and creates a huge difference in combat. Our normal attacks at the time on Fat Dodos went from 47 to 99.
