Good idea, whisp. When I'm not on my iPhone I'll help out. I'd also add crystal drops and notable loot, since that can also be a factor.

Another good solo spot are the jellyfish in LL (south of camp skull valley) for 10-15.

I haven't started grinding until last night. It seems the best SP comes from chaining mobs within a couple levels of your rank. I compiled some mob levels on YG and found these work for me.

Rank 10-15

Western La Noscea (Skull Valley area west of LL)

Puk Hatchling: 10-14 (714-802 HP) Great Sp 10-12, good SP 12-14

Carrion Chigoe 10-14 (408-459 HP) Great Sp 10-12, good SP 12-14

Plains rat 10-14 (1019-1145 HP) Great Sp 10-12, good SP 12-14

Dodo: 15-19 (1179-1325 HP) hard fights but great SP 11-13, great SP 13-14..fights are a little slow due to sleep and my evasion not waking me up. They like to spam status ailments (blind, sleep, slow) which are all pretty annoying.

Roseling: 15-19 (649-729 HP) quick fights and good SP at 14, but they hit hard

I plan on going to east La Noscea from 18-20 (Bloodshore area) and fighting Dodos, Puks, and Ladybugs. They are all lvl 20-24. I don't know where to go 15-18. It's either going to be a slow grind or I'll have to fight hard mobs. Any input is appreciated.

We had a group of 5-6 people (all around Rank 20-22) on the Wolves and Does west of Camp Dragonhead in Coerthas for some really fast exp. Think we made something like 15,000 skill in the short time we were there.

Cad and I have been duoing on Bloodshore Bells just east of camp Bloodshore. We're getting pretty good SP, about 150-200 average. Keep in mind we're two squishies, if you're melee, you could probably solo them (they show yellow for me at 16).

22-26. Camp iron lake in northern La Nosca. Dormouse. Pretty open camp, bit of roaming around. As with all camps, it's effectiveness depends on damage output.

So I was searching all over for copper coblyns to level my low level jobs quickly and I found an excellent locale. If any of you still have some low level battle class jobs here is a good spot to level 2 or 3 jobs in a particular playing session. Provided everyone doesn't go there after this. It is directly outside the second entrance/exit in Uldah.

And what is also cool is there is a little cave marked by the red flag on the map. In this cave is a phurble that casts protect on you!

If you need dodos...look no further! Check La Noscea map. There is a ravine full of them with particularly fast respawns for 13/14 - 18/20?

This post is in desperate need of updating. It's now two SP changes old.

As people SP grind in parties, and do guild-leves together, please post your results here. Things I'm looking for are...

    * Number of party members
    * Average rank of party (Point out any that were too low/high to give party SP)
    * If Grinding: Camp Location
    * If Grinding: Average SP per mob (list each mob, if needby)
    * If Leve-Linking: Camp Location
    * If Leve-Linking: Average Star Difficulty
    * If Leve-Linking: Any particular leve that stood out as good.
    * Observed/Guestimated SP/Hour

While leve-linking still appears to be king of the SP, if the group of 15 is not well organized, then it does drastically reduce the effectiveness of SP/hour. So it may be real worthwhile to update this sticky once again with useful information about where good camps are for both leve-linking, and for good old-fashioned party camps.

Anyway, just thought I'd throw that out there.

I'll start

Rank: 47
Party Type: Classic SP Grind Party
Party Members: Two
Classes: Ket (GLA) and Kio (LNC) (Notice distinct lack of aoe healing class)
Location: Camp Bluefog
Average SP/Kill: Unknown (Ket - Feel free to edit this post)
Average SP/Hour: 20k
Additional Notes: Was camped on top of by Firm Conviction

Rank 44-49
Party Type: Leve-Link
Party Members: 10-15
Classes: Anything - Good tank and healers make a huge difference
Location: Camp Broken Water
Average SP/Kill: Varied per leve. Generally 300-750 with 2-3 links.
Average Star Difficulty: 4. 5 provided no big SP increase and made fights longer
Average SP/Hour: 25-30k
Notes: We had leechers providing leve-links, but playing on R10 jobs. The group was also disorganized, as most veteran leve-linkers had already hit 50. SP did take a hit as a result of both issues.

Hide ya wife, hide ya kids, and hide ya husband too because we playing ffxiv round here!

Level: 14 - 21 (maybe?)
Options:

Dodo - In marked area I mentioned above in a previous post/
Lead Coblyn (highly recommended)

*It seems the system is go to horizon and spam F8 to get in behest...spend some time crafting there or killing lead coblyns in area provided and alternate between coblyn/behest. It is the best SP I have found unless someone can mention something better. I have also heard for mages bloodshore bells/bloodshore behest but those are a bit higher level I think (lvl 18-21?).

Although I don't have exact numbers this is where we have been so I recommend.
Level 21 - 25 - (Party Trio w/ healer or 4/5 people)
Mun Tuy - monkeys/puks/dreadwolf/occasional miteling

Level 24 - 28 (Party Trio w/ healer or 4/5 people)
Nanawa - Kill puks/coblyns

Level 28+ (Party Trio w/ healer or 4/5 people)
We are currently killing sordes puks in Tam Tara in a party with healer but we are still experimenting I think.

Note: The peridot doblyn in Copperbell isn't recommended due to diremite pops and ineffiency of sp due to the location of these pops.

Rather than edit yours I'm going to just post it myself.

Classes:
Ket
Kio

Rank: 47
Party Type: Classic SP Grind Party
Party Members: Two
Location: Camp Bluefog
Average SP/Hour: 20k

Average SP/Kill:
250SP per kill for Diremites (Main Target)
300SP per kill for Pieste
150SP per kill for Cockatrice
We had a lot of fatigue so probably worth 10%-20% more.

Additional Notes:

We may have no dedicated healer, but I have Sacrifice 2 and Siphon MP, and Kio has Speed Surge which makes party members drain about 50HP per attack, this is enough for self-sufficient healing. Diremites are the main target, but they hit pretty hard, like 300 damage per hit and have a (easily dodgeable) 600+ damage TP move. With Sentinel and Guard I can reduce this to 70-100 damage per hit, then alternate on the next fight with Aegis Boon instead, because Sentinel and Boon are both 1 minute timers.

When we run out of Diremites in the long stretch west of camp, we kill all the cockatrice around the camp itself which give decent SP for dying fast and helps repop the mites again. Desert Piestes are actually easier to kill than mites and give even more SP, but there aren't many of them, about 4-5 roam around north of the camp.

All in all, a not bad 46+ camp but Diremites hit hard so you'll want some self-sufficient healing if you aren't duoing with a healer.

Image

EDIT: As an additional note, just fighting the Cockatrice and Goats around the aetheryte itself are probably great SP for low 40s.
