Saw this on zam.com. We should test it out:

Quote:
Everyone knows how broken this system is, you try to do it as intended and nothing ever happens; one person is always left doing nothing.
Even if it does work, is it really useful given the amount of time it takes to execute? Probably not.

Anyway, we've finally managed to crack the system so that it operates majority of the time and does not take 2 years to pull off. This is more aimed at those players with LS buddies or players with statics as it is a bit bothersome to setup/explain on the fly, also does take a bit of coordination on players behalf.

Basically, treat BR as you would an ancient magic skillchain from FFXI in that you have to react to a players queue. The reason why BR never works is because there is actually a strict window that allows it to be executed properly, if you're off even by a bit; one person will end up doing nothing. This window is actually about half a second...

The basic steps of this method are (considering a 2 person chain where Player A goes second in the BR queue):
Player A uses macro and announces they will be performing BR in 3 seconds in /p.
Player B activates their BR macro immediately when they see this macro.
BR commands will show up on the list in quick succession, in the order Player B > Player A.
Either player can now press BR key to execute, it should execute and put the proper regimen on the target.
Process takes about 5 seconds, although very much still debatable if it's worth using at all at this time.

Macros are, for Player A
/battleregimen on
/p (Skillname) in 3 seconds..
/wait 3
/ac "Skill" <t>

Player B:
/battleregimen on
/wait 1
/ac "Skill" <t>

Perhaps now with a method of consistantly putting regimens on a target someone out there will find some use to them.
Either way, the more you know right?
