A lot of this may already be known by high lvl players but I wanted to stick this here on our forums. I hope its correct.

[IMPORTANT:] Incapacitating different parts of the NMs also require you to stand at different positions appropriate for the part you want to break.

EXAMPLE: To break Buffalos Left Horn, the characters trying to break its Left Horn must stand on the left side of Great Buffalo. The characters trying to break its Right Horn must stand on the right side of Great Buffalo.

Spoiler: show
Great Buffalo:

Legs: Red Lotus II(GLA); Seismic Shock II(PUG); Skewer II(LNC)

Left Horn: Simian Trash(PUG); Brutal Swing II(MRD); Twisting Vice(LNC)

Right Horn: Spinstroke II(GLA); Victimize II(PUG); Bloodletter(ARC)

Uraeus:

Head: Concussive Blow II(PUG); Skull Sunder II(MRD); Shrieker(ARC)

Tail: Luminous Spire(GLA); Pounce(PUG); Trunksplitter II(MRD)

Dodore:

Eye: Concussive Blow II(PUG); Skull Sunder II(MRD); Shrieker(ARC)

Tail: Luminous Spire(GLA); Pounce(PUG); Trunksplitter II(MRD)

Elder Mosshorn:

Horn: Concussive Blow II(PUG); Skull Sunder II(MRD); Shrieker(ARC)

Haughtpox Bloatbelly:

Head: Concussive Blow II(PUG); Skull Sunder II(MRD); Shrieker(ARC)

Left Arm: Maim(MRD); Chaos Thrust(LNC); Foeseeker(ARC)

Right Arm: Riot Blade(GLA); Moonrise II(LNC); Barrage(ARC)

-----

But seriously make sure you're standing in the right spot. To hit the head you need to be hitting the head for example. To hit left arm on Gob, you have to be on his left side. Stuff like that is probably easy to overlook or forget at first.
----------------------------

So...this would be the list for now.

Thanks for reading and hope it helps some people.

Also try
Spoiler: show
"you can incap bloatbellys legs, but it does not increase droprate.

Pretty sure Skullsunder, trunksplitter, Conc Blow, spinstroke, and skewer all need to be the second version.

The I versions of skills will not produce the Incapacitation battle log message, whereas the II versions will.

Well no wonder we had no luck breaking horns when we were doing Buffalo, who gave us that bogus info about using "Head" WS instead of "Left Other" and "Right Other"? Failures!

Anyway, if people are ever unsure if they're in the right position, bare in mind that when you use an incapacitating WS in the right spot on the right mob, the log will tell you as such. Instead of saying:

You hit the Monster for 500 points of damage.

It'll say:

You hit the Monster's head for 500 points of damage.
You hit the Monster's legs for 500 points of damage.
You hit the Monster's left arm for 500 points of damage.

etc, etc.

I told you before ket (( or wait it was krellis lol )) that info wasn't available when we did it (( I googled for hours lol )) nor did HHG know what the hell incapacitating a horn was back when we first killed the buffalo lol; So I went off the official list on lodestone posted by SE, and since they don't list buffalo there I just assumed a buffalo's horns were lumped in with other horns like Goats which require the horn breaking WS, IE the ones I listed at the PT we had.

But ofcourse no, it was actually "Right: Other" and "Left: other" lol. . .because SE has to be confusing and stupid.

I was able to knock the buffalo on the ground using the Flashfreeze THM weaponskill. You could always sub that, Yarr. I think they get them at what, like rank10?

Ya last I heard from Yoitsme and forums, Flashfreeze can incapacitate any limb from any angle (( Although I would bet its directional based too depending on what you want to break, but I can't test it myself obviously ))

And flashfreeze is 30, lol I wish it was rank 10 haha
