Gamescom is the european equivalent of E3, it runs from Wednesday August 15th to Sunday August 19th.

SE just put out a press release with their gamescome lineup, I've stripped a lot of the crap out of the quote.

“gamescom is the biggest European games show and it’s great to be there with such a strong and diverse lineup of interactive experiences. This year we have a mix of some of the industry’s most identifiable characters and a host of highly original content – it’s going to be a great show,” said Phil Rogers, president and chief executive officer of Square Enix Europe.

interesting because gamescon was also first playable demo for the original. only this time i dont expect every patrons reaction to be "whys it like this youre not really keeping it this way are you?" and "i cant see myself just pushing this button over and over for hours" or "i dont understand" like v1 had.
