I don't read many FFXIV forums (other than this)...so I'm not always up to date.

I know people mentioned how stats cap at 350 (like STR, INT, DEX, etc) but can increase depending on your weapon. Is there a database anywhere that shows what weapons increase the stat cap?

I'm curious if it's worthwhile exceeding the cap with a giantsgall weapon, garuda weapon, etc.

google around, and search for "ffxiv stats kaeko" that will lead you to a lot of great information. I haven't found a comprehensive list yet, but there are a shit ton of posts to dig through.

Cool I did that. There is a clusterfuck of speculation/info out there and it seems like nobody knows 100%, but they have some good theories.

And it's all changing with 2.0 lol.

Higher the dps on the weapon, the higher the stat cap I think (higher ws DMG too). So get the highest dps weapon u can is the idea ppl go for: relic first, Garuda next, then lieutenant's (which is so accessible its not really worth investigating less). For stat caps I'm remembering like 370/320 for relic, 350/310 garuda/lieut, 330/300 ifrit. All numbers by memory of hearsay tho lol
