Actually got into Beta. Went to come on here to see where you all were gathering...annndd general error accessing forums.

Having fun with the game at least.

SE have impressed me immensely. This is what XIV should have been two and a half years ago.

I wouldn't bother if you have anything better to do, don't forget Phase 3 characters all get wiped at the end.

Nothing changed. The story missions and cut scenes are just awesome, that's all.

I think the extent of the story by level 15 in 1.0 was escorting a girl in a straw hat.

....unless the quest was, "Fetch the Straw Hat"

Well, Beta seemed ok.

I still am not used to the camera control. My wife was getting frustrated late at night, but she may have just been tired and grumpy. I only made it to level ten, but I do like how gear you get from questing is relevant, and not just something you throw away. I still hate using a mouse, but I guess I can deal with it.

seems like I cannot run this game on anything higher than normal settings at 720p. thinking about getting a new ati video card or stealing ridere's card so i have two. does this game benefit from having two cards? I belive I have an ATI radeon HD 5770. will crossfire work with the game or should i just get a new video card?

saw this card on sale http://amzn.com/B009LTUC90
ATI 7850 1gb for 168. worth it?

I believe they were adding a keyboard only mode, might not be ready yet. Gamepad/mouse hybrid works very comfortably also if you wish to try that out.

As for camera controls, there are two methods you can choose. Personally the Legacy option works better in my opinion. Maybe try toggling between the two? There's also quite a bit of options to tweak it like where the default location is, how fast it pans, etc.

I gotta say, I've been somewhat disappointed with THM. If it doesn't get a good buff at higher levels, its gonna suck. I felt more powerful as a level 1 CNJ.

Look.. I know the game will probably ultimately be disappointing end-game. I'm sure it will not be able to satisfy my endless desire for satisfying boss killing content.

I JUST WANT TO PLAY THE GD THING.

I saw an improvement in 1.0 with crossfire. I'll let you know if its still going on if I can get into the game at some point.


Are all servers down until the weekend? They all say maintenance for me.

I'll be making me annual pop of the woodwork return this weekend to join you guys on Hyperion.

Was there anything to do after level 15 past beta weekend? It seemed like the cap was 30 but besides leves and group quests I had nothing but low level quests available after the 15-16ish ones.
