SE have posted on twitter that 100,000 people have downloaded the patch so far and are expecting heavy login problems when it goes live.

NA data center seems to be live, JP one looks dead. It took about 15 minutes but it's letting me log in now.

for me, JP is alive (except Chocobo world), and NA/EU is currently offline and no servers are even listed :(

Ugh I was on, switched my screen to full screen and the game crashed and cant get back on. P4 aint recognizing my second (Powerful) GPU in the display settings. Good start!

trying to, blasted server keeps breaking. I don't understand after going through this so many times why they didn't just put a server queue up. For whatever reason they made this more confusing than before to set up, tad disappointed that you can't freely config the gamepad either. But they at least got a really good va for the video finally! I'm excited to hear the newly voiced cutscenes in game.

also, sorry grumpy from waking up at 3am lol

people online saying you either got into the JP side or the NA/EU side, can't switch once you're in, and if you log out you can't get back. i guess i better start learning japanese

whisp, i think you actually have to quit the character creator all the way and then choose your server first, but I cant get a step past that yet as the na servers arent listed currently

Tried to stay up to get an early jump on this but im just way too tired and the NA servers arent showing up for me either.

my character on the creation screen is in my arcanist gear, which means it's gonna roll me back a few minutes, i bet.
