Good news, it's now possible to link your service account via a PS3. - Enter the PSN code on the PS store. - Cancel the download if you already installed Beta 4. Otherwise download and install it. Approximately ~7gb. - Run FFXIV. - Launcher will patch. - Log in with your SE account. - It will ask you to select a service account to attach your pre-order and early access bonuses to. Awesome thxs Ket. I just got my Wife's PS3 code in just now and updated like you said. The button now says wait till early access launch to play. |

According to Reddit, you can now use the launcher to check if your account is properly activated and ready for Early Access. If your account is activated ready, it will look like this:  If not, it will look like this:

Looks like im ready too. IMI Legacy members should get the pre-order shit with out having to do anything. Im having a hell of a time trying to get my code... and I preordered a CE. |

You could try going to a GameStop and pre-ordering at an actual retail store for $5 or whatever and get them to put your pre-order code on the receipt... and then never bother to go get it? Beats buying a whole second copy of the game. |

I just realized that I may actually want some items on my 2nd account's retainers for those handful of days. But probably not. I crafted all the gear sets I needed to craft in phase 4, so maybe the first 3 days will just be blowing through class/job/main quests. I need WHM asap! |

hmm looks like I might be screwed for the early 3 day access. I get the good page on the ps3 but I get the bad page on the pc version of the client. can anybody confirm the same? |

This was being debated on Reddit earlier. This seems to be the case, the early access code is locked to the platform it was redeemed on. At least if we believe that the "invalid service account" error is definitely a sign that you won't be able to play on Saturday. However, there's an FAQ post by SE some time ago that quite clearly says that early access would be valid for all platforms once redeemed. I'd find a link but its 4AM here. |

I successfully (and easily) redeemed the CE and installed on my PS3, and my PC currently gives the green light for early access. I'm ready to rock. Saturday can't come soon enough. |

Kluya, you are legacy though, right? So installing the pre-order bonus code doesn't really matter in terms of early access, right? I'm pretty Confident that Kitty and I are good to go, but if not, we'll just buy a bunch of ice cream and have a little cryfest for 3 days. haha :D |

Oh yeah that's true, it didn't affect my early access. That would be shitty if it meant you had to play on the PS3 instead for 3 days...but I guess that wouldn't be the end of the world lol. Aside from you haveing to share the same console

Sharing the console would be the hardest. yah. haha. I'd probably just do my best to get storyline done, or just end up doing lots of work on DoL jobs. haha. |
