Ya, saw that this morning. Every single piece of tank gear has the same VIT on it, so it doesn't even matter what combination you have. It just has to, you know, drop.

I could technically buy Hero's stuff to finish myself to i90 but it feels like a big waste when none of it is PLD BiS.

And yep, Allagan Blade has an extra 3 VIT too, that'd tip it.

That said I don't know exactly which food they were using in that screenshot. If they were trying to maximise for screenshot purposes it's likely a HQ finger sandwich, but those are too expensive to be using as regular tank food (2-3k a pop).

That's what I ended up doing for monk, since I figured it was better to raid with full STR/VIT while waiting on BiS stuff. Sucks that it'll end up going to waste when it does get replaced, but whatever.

Time to reroll highlander ket for that 2 extra vit to put you over the top =P

I've purchased a handful of non-bis i90 pieces, simply because they were an upgrade. Tanks are the only ones I've come across so far who make the whole "I have 1900 myth, but aren't full i90" type comments. I mean it obviously doesn't matter for you in particular, since you all have T1-5 on farm, or whatever, I just have noticed a trend with tanks doing that.

I bought my non-bis upgrades (like Kayne), simply because of DPS checks. And I still didn't buy the two Turn 4 myth pieces, 'cause I was really hoping for drops, but I may revisit that now until I'm back on T4 farm status. So I kinda understand the feeling of not wanting to "waste" the myth.

But I still see people only realistically getting full BiS in 2, possibly 3 (if very lucky with drops), jobs per new max iLvl content patch. So I guess I don't see a need to really hoard the myth. The 450/week is a huge boon towards being a bit loose with your myth upgrades, in particular if you acknowledge you're never gonna have 6 (9 if you count non-shared healing/fending/casting AF1.5 BiS pieces) sets of BiS each max iLvl content patch.

i spent 2000 myth on warrior last night. should be at 10k hp with thrill and food, but havent tested it.

once i get gloves and ear, i wont need any more armor on pld/war. prolly won't wanna do t1-t4 on tank anymore.
