Only just got out the queue. Group lost because half of the dps couldnt speak English, and couldn't push enough dps at the end before Zansetzuken. Gonna queue one last time. |

Worse party than the first time. Some other guy could "only play paladin" so I ended up on dps. I know how to BLM at least. Wiped both times because tank wasn't silencing Einherjar (the damn scholar silenced the few that were). I saw him with the ability panel open while waiting for second pull (you only get time for 2 pulls). Leaned over and asked what he was looking for: "Trying to find which one silences." ... ... No shirt for me. |

The guy who can only play Paladin is apparently lower than level 45. I forgot time zones exist and missed everything before the costumes. Was there any big news confirmed? |

You get the Hildibrand magnet from completing the "quest" (gotta do a bunch of the activities plus find some hidden treasure stamps). Don't know what the primal roulette reward was (it had one, was listed on the quest stamps), didn't get to do it. And the Odin t-shirt was obviously the reward for Odin. The rest is bought from the "Market Ward", and the line for that place was god damn huge. We were one of the first people in there and we were waiting an hour. The line extended at least 5-10x longer behind us. For some reason they thought a single cash register would be enough for 2000 people. Everybody wanted the Delivery Moogle Plush. None of it was particularly expensive, but it does kinda add up when you start buying all of it, lol. |

The previous 3 US Fanfests had the same problem with merch. The lines were RETARDED. When they first started selling the 3 nation rings at 06; after waiting in line for an hour and a half, they were sold out of my size so I had to wait a few months for them to show up on the SE store online to buy it. Knowing that the merch was going to be sold online later and wasn't exclusive to the Fanfest, it makes me wonder why people spent so much time waiting in line. EDIT: Believe me, I can attest to how quickly the prices add up. Each of the 3 Fanfests I went to for FFXI I bought almost every piece of merch they hawked to us. I have half a dozen FFXI shirts in my closet >_> |
