Summer Event 2015: The Easy Way

Want the new stuff? Don't want to camp FATEs all day? Do this:
REQUIREMENTS: Level 20 Botanist. Level 5 Culinarian. About 6k Gil.

NOTE: It says here you want "30" of everything, this assumes you already own everything from the previous year's event(s). If you don't, you're going to want a whole lot more. If you have nothing from previous years, you're going to want 115.

NOTE2: If you don't give a flying rat's arse about furniture. You only need 29.

--------------------------------------------

1) Switch to Botanist.
Go south-east of Camp Drybone, Level 20 Nodes (15,26).
Harvest 30 Popotoes.
You can buy these from the Market Board but people are selling them for silly money at the moment. Your call.

2) Teleport to Aleport.
Ride to the Sahagin Beastman Vendor (17,22).
Purchase 30 Table Salt.
Purchase 30 Olive Oil.

3) Teleport to Limsa Lominsa
Use the Aetheryte to go to Aft Castle.
Start the quest Reigniting the Festivities.

4) Teleport to Costa Del Sol.
Ride north to the beach, continue the quest at the NPC P'obyano (30,27).

5) Behind you is a "Festive Fisher" NPC.
Purchase 30 Haddock.

6) Switch to Culinarian.
Synthesize the new Level 5 recipe Battered Fish.
You cannot Quick Synth this recipe.
Make 30 of them.
NOTE: 30 synths will trigger the challenge log exp bonus. As it's Tuesday, you might want to stop at 29 and change job.

7) Trade all 30 of them to the NPC C'zibho Tia via his repeatable quest.
Put your Battered Fish in the first slot of your inventory.
Mash Numpad 0 (X on PS4 Controller) like it's going out of fashion.

8) You'll have 30 Faire Tokens.
Trade 7 to P'obyano to continue the quest.
Finish the quest at the NPC up north (32,24).

9) Talk to the Moonfire Faire Vendor back at (30,27).
Enter the menu for your gender.
First item you get for free from the previous quest.
Purchase gendered items #2 and #3 (Trunks and Striped Vest, 7 and 15 tokens respectively).
Purchase a Oriental Wind Chime (Furniture) from the last menu for the final new item with your last token.

All done.

I love the items in this event, its a shame it feels like not a whole lot was going on.

PS: the beach is really dirty

Saddest part about being gone for a year is missing out on the event stuff. I'm glad we reactivated in time for this one, at least.

You're kinda lucky most of the previous event items you could get in game for free this time around. They started putting the missed stuff on the cash shop. I'm not entirely against that though.

I'm going to have to figure out how that works. I missed everything from after the summer 2014 event to the summer 2015 event. Haha
