Plus the bigger three in the other pictures in the post.

Also I noticed the two-handed conjurer staff says "Number of Attacks: +1" -- which is always fun.

I'm glad they are adding fun lowbie stuff, these NMs look awesome. Tho they could of spent 2 seconds to re-color them :P But I won't whine about that.

and. . Patch 1.17 will also see the introduction of class-specific equipment. If an item's help text states that it "requires" a certain class, only adventurers of that class will be able to equip the item

?

Looks like a pretty good patch! Hope they're spread out as far as levels are concerned.

I agree with Madi, they should atleast recolor them...none of the NMs look any different from a normal mob. They should take the tip from grandma's boy and render them different colors! The trolls in level 6 look almost identical to the gnomes in level 2.

I can confirm the 'class-specific equipment' my archer gloves can only be equipped while I'm an archer.

majority of ffxi nms werent remodeled or anything and i was ok with that. I think ket said it somewhere and i agreed that id rather see them stop worrying about unique models and just reuse some shit to pump in a large number of lowbie nms like ffxi had.

The issue for me with that fatty is that it literally takes maybe 5 minutes to re-skin an NM to look unique. I did it all the time in XI; I think most of my summons and bst jugs were pink and had hearts all over them.

So it is kind of worrying that they can't even take 5 minutes out of their time to do that, when common players can do it so quickly.

Killed one of the new NMs about 10 times last night (Ghost NM in Casseopia hollow). Got (10) danburite chokers, (1) Paladin trousers, and (1) rank 33 THM weapon that looks pretty awesome.

I dunno, i've fought the one who drops Kokaroon mail about 150 times, and it was always camped.

I don't normally see people camping the others.
