The Flame General guy's background sounds a lot like treasures of aht urhgan. In ToA the empress was personally protected by a squad of blue mages called the Immortals. Their head man? A guy named Raubahn.

The picture of the limsa leader is definitely a galka chick.

The fact that it mentions each Company as a central command of a nation's full resources sounds just like going to a gate guard and getting missions, signet, supply quests, outpost battles, etc. The overall backstory of the companies makes it sound like national allegiance in FFXI. Great danger faced the world, the companies were formed to put aside the separate nations' differences and cohesively fight against it. Same thing is happening now.

Each nation had a religio/political leader of sorts (King Destin, The Star Sibyl, and The bastokan pres) and a military/adventurer leader (Prince Trion, Semih Lafihna/Ajido-Marujido, Volker/Zeid).

How all of this ties in with private airships and houses is beyond my reckoning.

yeah its definately just normal city structure or campaign structure from ffxi. i have no idea how this is going to tie in airships and houses. fuck you tanaka

So um like are they even in the game yet? I thought it said they came with patch 1.17 but no one has been talking about the inter workings or w/e
