Patch 1.17a is now live, bringing with it a number of sidequests and other new content, such as guild tasks.

This is so pathetic.

This is a video to hype the second content patch since the last wow expansion came out. Thats right, the second content patch since the game came out in October of last year.




THIS IS THE SECOND CONTENT PATCH! WTF SQUARE!

Just one of these content patches have a million times more game changing update to WoW than Square has done to FFXIV and FFXIV is broken!

FFXIV needs a good story line. something epic, so far its story is boring. not even the final mission is all that exciting tbh. AND ending the gla and cul quest at 36 wtf...

This stuff with an empire getting ready to mess everyone up has potential, as long as they actually make it seem dangerous, not like a bunch of level 40 demons dicking around in xarcabard.

We need some entertaining rank 50 content that requires people to team up. Something like dynamis, limbus, etc. We also need HNMs. The current high level NMs are soloable already because the game has a broken mage ability that makes you almost invincible. It used to require 8-15 man parties of rank 50 players and much haste to beat them under 30 minutes. Now a level 50 mage can do it solo.

We also need a /sea all feature

Need to add party searching that isn’t ass backwards. A system like FFXI would be perfect.

Need autoattack NOW! Spamming “1” for basic attacks is so annoying.

Also get rid of fatigue. It doesn’t even out the playing field, it just inconveniences everybody and wastes time. I understand MMO are supposed to be a time sink, but punishing people for exp-ing the same job for more than 50k exp is unfair.

A few minor things, allow us to kick people from LS who are inactive, bring back chocobos, and finally…where the hell is my airship? Even better where is our company airship!?

I think I'd actually like to do the whol choco raising this time time around. Never really got to do it in 11. I'd like more-engaging sidequests. FF11 had some great side quests. I'd also like them to do something with those side towns other than having them be the location of a few rank quests.
