Oh and the new Hamlet Defense missions are instanced, 8 member full praty only content, lol. Talk about annoying, was hoping to finally have some large-group type stuff.

I'm also sick of all the 8/8 stuff.

I like that team 7/8 can do dungeons now! Too bad Ifrit and Moogle are still 8/8. And Hamlet.

■戦士&斧術士の調整■
Adjustments to MRD/WAR

「できる限りの下方修正は行わない」という方針で、これまで調整を実施/検討してきましたが、
戦士に関しては「敵視が安定し、広範囲に高いダメージが出せ、防御力が高い」と、
あまりにも高性能化してしまったため、一部下方修正が発生します。
この点については、本当に申し訳ありません。
The direction is to "try as much as possible to not make downgrade changes" and we have been looking/making adjustments but for Warrior the hate is optimal, at same time can deal high damage and has high defense, it became too strong so parts of it will be down graded. For this one I am really sorry.

性能が高すぎる「スチールサイクロン」の性能調整が行われます。
また「バーサク」の効果上昇と「ワールウィンド」の攻撃力を強化し、
引き換えに「コルーション」の効果が調整されます。
"Steel Cyclone" will get adjustments since it is current too efficient.
Also we will increase effect of Berserk and increase the attack in Whirlwind
and adjust Collusion's effect.

■ナイト&剣術士■
Paladin and Gladiator

まずダメージの底上げを行うため
「ゴアブレード」「ライオットソード」「レイジオブハルオーネ」は、強化される予定です。
また、剣術士からナイトへジョブチェンジした際の最大HP減少特徴を無くし、
結果的に最大HPが増える調整がなされ、加えて、盾ガードの強化を行う予定です。
これ以外にも調整の過程で必要と判断されれば、ステータス/敵視関連にも、
調整が入る可能性があります。
To increase the damage we are planning to upgrade "Goring Blade" "Riot Blade" "Rage of Halone". Also when changing from gladiator to Paladin to make where you wont lose the maximum HP and instead increase the maximum HP, at same time increase the shield guard. Aside from this if we decide more adjustments are required we may adjust the status/enmity related stats also.

■竜騎士&槍術士■
Dragoon and Lancer

竜騎士&槍術士は戦闘時間の長い蛮神/レイドボスなどとの戦闘時に、
今以上のパフォーマンスを発揮できるように調整を検証中です。
基本的にはクリティカル時のダメージ上昇を増大させ、
想定しているジョブイメージに近づける調整となります。
For Dragoon and Lancer for long battles such as primals or raid bosses we are looking into making adjustments where you can perform much better than right now.
Basically to increase the damage when critical hits and to make it closer to the planned job image.

*各修正内容の詳細は、調整完了し次第、パッチ前にご報告させて頂きます。
For details on each adjustments once the adjustments are completed we will announce before the patch.

I’m not surprised. Warrior is incredibly overpowered right now. It’s the most efficient melee AoE DD and tank.

I notice when I’m healing a WAR tanking mobs t2t like Ifrit, it seems they take less damage than PLD. I have other’s damage taken filtered, so I have no idea. But their HP bar doesn’t drop as quickly (or as much). Their critical attacks regenerate a significant amount of HP, increasing their survivability and making it easier to heal overall. For example we can do one WHM with warrior tank on Ifrit now, but it’s much harder with a GLA tank.

Also they are dealing more dot than PLD making it a better choice overall. PLD really needed this boost….and I hate to say it but WAR could use a little nerf.

They should find a way to make DRG and MNK more useful. I know others disagree with me, but I never see those jobs doing better than THM, BRD, or WAR as DD.

WAR does take more damage than PLD, but WAR has around 35%+ more HP so it looks like it drops slower.

The issue isn't that WAR is strong. The issue is that WAR has the best enmity, best attack, best aoe, and best defense *all at the same time*. They need to make the "stances" more pronounced: Make Rampage nerf their damage output, and make Berserk nerf their tanking ability. Just so they can't tank AND be a damn good DD at the same time.

As for WAR being much better than MNK and DRG, Steel Cyclone is probably the biggest culprit here. In a game where fighting multiple monsters at the same time is encouraged and pretty damn common, only WAR really has an extremely powerful AoE WS with a relatively short recast to boot. Couple it with Bloodbath for instant healing and the fact any hate they pull from it on adds they can quite easily tank no problem, and you've got your overpowered melee class.

Sounds like they intend to at least buff DRG. Thing is I don't see DRG or MNK around enough to really know what they need other than giving them their own Steel Cyclones. The best exp and most efficient way to fight is getting lots of links and AoEing them all. A buff to single-target damage probably isn't really going to help buff them versus WAR much.

I cant say im surprised war is getting nerfed, but I would have rather seen a few jobs just get buffed to match. Then buff the mobs to match. Its pretty much the same effect, but people dont see it as a nerf.

Also, if you assholes form a party when the servers come up with out me Im gonna test out the LS exile feature. Now you wont see it coming.

Except it's 50mbps fibre optic cable. Supposed to be getting my free upgrade to 100mbps in July too, gonna be sweet.

Garuda BLM staff is actually decent: 25 m.acc, 30int and enmity -30. A lucky triple melded electrum scepter could beat it though. At least they heading in the right direction stat wise.

The astrolobe is also decent stats: 10 m.acc, 25int, and 80hp. It is meldable though, which means you could throw int, lightning, hells fist, or sagacious might on it.
