Patch 1.23a is now live! Face off against a vastly souped-up Nael van Darnus in the most grueling battle to date, undertake new sidequests featuring a certain investigative duo, and more!

"Rivenroad (Hard)" is currently the most punishing battle available in FINAL FANTASY XIV

Including "Bowl of Embers (Extreme)" ?

Incidentally, a set of earrings were in the game last patch called The White Ravens, with the following stats:

Regen : +1, Refresh : +1, Accuracy : +3, Magic Accuracy : +3

Probably the reward. Kinda sucks because this battle and thus the reward will very most likely be gone in a month.

Have you guys attempted bowl of embers extreme? Our LS became pretty skilled with killing ifrit quickly after a while. That would have been fun when it was fresh in our heads. It would probably take a few runs to get used to it again.

I want to finish the GC storyline. I'm still on the fight in MorDhona in Castrum Novum (sp?).

ifrit extreme is really only for the relic weapon quests.

Darnus extreme...I expected it but I also dread it lol the normal one was pretty difficult as it is.

Well gives us something new to die to every night til we get it right!
But sometimes I wonder if these challenges are good for the game, it really alienates a lot of casual players.
Also, we only have about a month to beat it for everyone who needs it so I guess we really need to start hauling ass.

Not to mention I believe only 8 people in the LS (total) can access the fight. So good luck with that lol.

Pretty sure people are sick of Garuda now anyway. You need to get more than one of you who needs it online at once and then just ask people to do it, they're fun fights, people will do them.

I still need to kill a raven, have been waiting for more people to be online that needed it, now I want to check the new fight as well. Just need to schedule it I guess.

*Edit*
After seeing people continue on with the new quests last night, I didn't want to wait anymore for you slow bastards. Crit started a pug last night and we beat raven on the second try.

If people still need it, I have no problem helping.
